Today marks 25 years since 'Another Suitcase in Another Hall' was released as the third single from the 'Evita' soundtrack. In the original musical, the song is sung from the perspective of Juan Perón's mistress, however the film adaption with Madonna sees its meaning completely reinvented when sung by Eva Perón. The song reached #7 in the UK charts, although failed to achieve much success elsewhere.

25 years on, what are your thoughts on 'Another Suitcase in Another Hall'?

I think it's a sweet song and Madonna sings it well, but I'd be lying if I said it's one I return to.

One if the best from the album.

Bet Andrea Corr wasnt pleased when her main moment from the movie was given to Madonna.
