Sorry, not sure if I can make that image smaller.

Seems fine on my phone, don’t worry :D

It always amuses me that Lee doesn't sing along in the music video lol.

A great song, always glad it gave them another #1 hit!

Jay if I wake up tomorrow… (well… later this morning) and LTOMM is next, I’m gonna laugh at you hahahaha!

He’s honestly such a shady queen. One of us while actively not being one of us.

Yeah for Stomp! Not their ultimate best but definitely a good bop in their collection. Happy it gave them another #1. The Australian cover is ‘meh’, though I do own a copy.

And yes, I’m going for LTOMM as well (so for I’m not good with guessing as well ;) )

#17 - 5,6,7,8

In at #17 is the single that started it all. Released in late 1997 this is probably one of their most recognisable songs. I remember hearing this for the first time around Easter 1998 when it was starting to make waves in the Australian Singles Chart. It'd go on to reach #1 in June of that year giving the band their first ever #1 anywhere. I think the face that this was such a smash in Australia is why it makes my list. Yes it's not one of their best but the nostalgia from watching this climb the charts, reaching #1 and also trying to learn the dance moves go heavily in it's favour. It's still something that I'll regularly play now and it gets many regular listens on my 90's playlist. I realise that this may be a slightly unpopular decision but there'll be more of those to come I'm fairly certain. :)

I think 5,6,7,8 is in mine too so it’s a good choice ;)

Loving the speed at which these songs are coming now yaaaaas

I still love 5 6,7 8 and have always enjoyed it. It stands out as none of their other songs are like it at all and it was also the one that started everything off. I'm sure almost everyone was expecting a one hit wonder but they certainly proved everyone wrong.

As they have managed to prove on the last few tours, they can change it up as well.

The band might dislike it but they’ll always have to sing it and so we get these great new arrangements.

I love what ‘5,6,7,8’ has done for them and how they’ve grown from that release. And, still one/if not thé, most recognizable hit (especially outside the UK). The song is nice but not their best indeed. And..Lee taking the lead
5,6,7,8 was def a song that had to be debut, it wouldnt have worked as a follow up, but its done so so much for them.

Agreed!

PL - if you’re here… and while we are a hive of activity, get the next one up so we can chat about it!
