I didn’t know this was a thing like at all but I’m kinda here for Dance With Me and Haven’t Found You Yet

Screaming at the old school HMV signing tour. Wish more bands would do that kind of thing. It’s special for the fans I think and I guess it works for a band that was so iconic and is trading on a personable rep and nostalgia

Title track from the album had its first play on Radio 2 this morning and is out today. It's a bit of a banger:

It's not really a lyric video if they only show the lyrics of the chorus.

Album is out today - they were just on BBC Breakfast minus Lee, and there's all sorts of unconfirmed speculation currently flying around that he won't be at the signings which isn't so great.

On a slightly more positive note though the album is killer - I'd say

for me personally it's their strongest studio album since "One Love".

There's also an interview in this magazine that's worth a read: https://1883magazine.com/blue/

If he's not taking part in promoting the album, then why was the release date pushed back?

Probably hoped he would be better to do so, must be giving him more time to get well for the shows

Shame about Lee, but he clearly needs the time out at the moment, just unfortunate timing with the album out.

But I agree this is their best album since their heyday. Heart and Soul could have easily been a hit single for a more relevant artist. I still like Haven't Found You Yet too, and Dance With Me is classic Blue - they could have released this in 2001!

The album tracks are all pretty strong, I especially like Gravity, it sort of sounds like it was written for an uplifting X Factor montage but it's quite epic sounding.

Going to have to give this album a listen, I loved the original three Blue albums but the last two were a bit hit and miss for me.

Lee's just posted that he and his partner have had a baby girl, who's only three weeks old, so he's at home with his family and this is why he's not on the promo tour.

Havent Found You Yet (best song on the album)

Heart and Soul sounds like a Joel Corry production and if it was would prob be a hit!

Dance With Me is a decent effort but i just love the original so so much!

Gravity is another highlight.

Heart & Soul was co-written by MNEK, so that's why it sounds a little reminiscent to Head & Heart.
3.5k total sales with physicals even less than that, after a long pre ordering and many signings… i am wondering how many people were actually attending tbhose signings…. Shame :/

There's no sugar coating that it's a shit result considering they were on everything this last week - This Morning, Sunday Brunch etc - and did all the signings. I'm not quite sure how many were at Westfield when I saw them last Saturday but it wasn't a massive amount I don't think. How they handled explaining why Lee wasn't there didn't help either I think. Ah well. Shame because the album's still good. Just hope the tour goes ahead without a hitch but even an element of doubt sits in my mind on that now.
