It’s quite ironic that it’s called Hard 2 Forget because I literally barely remember its existence.

Listen to it more then! :cheer:

I'm honestly quite surprised at the generally meh reactions to this song!

Personally I think Hard 2 Forget is a refreshing sound for them. It can be considered as sounding contemporary, which is unusual for Steps (though of course their vocals still make it sound like Steps). To my ears it's full of hooks. It has a really solid chorus!

I think some fans (not necessarily saying anyone here) always seem to yearn for Steps to continually release similar sounding "one foot in the past" songs akin to Scared of the Dark or Something in Your Eyes... personally I think that would get predictable/samey. I think it's sensible of them to add different flavours to their discography. That's a reason why I have appreciation for songs like Take Me for a Ride and A Hundred Years of Winter.

Hopefully Hard 2 Forget can prove to be a grower for some of you.

That's a very good take. I do enjoy the 'non traditional' sounding Steps songs. So I'd welcome more of them. Saying that I'd still want more of what we all love.

@ me next time ;)

I don't know, I really like Take Me for a Ride and A Hundred Years of Winter and appreciate them both. But Hard 2 Forget is just so flat to me, I literally never go back to it out of choice since its release.

Great thanks, looking forward to the 7th Heaven remix.

Agreed, hard 2 forget is quite inferior to most of their recent output.

5 track remix EP out now in Australia. I’ll need to listen to it a little later on though. The 7th Heaven Remix sounded ok though.

Not sure if this was previously mentioned but Hard 2 Forget is newly added to Radio 2’s B List this week!

That may help Hard 2 Forget climb slightly on iTunes.
