I would be surprised if Madonna goes to #1 with a remix album, although I suppose stranger things have happened. The standard version has already been available to stream and download for a few weeks so I don’t think her digital sales will likely be very strong in the week of August 19th. It mostly depends on her physical sales, but I wouldn’t think it would sell as strongly as a studio album does for her. I guess we can only wait and see!

I'd be the same plus for me part 2 is the better of the two albums.

I can't see Madonna getting above #4. A GH album is more appealing than a remix album, plus they'll have more formats, probably do a lot more promotion and it's fair to say probably have a more robust fanbase in the UK these days.

Plus the fact that their most recent studio albums have sold more than Madonna's have in week one.

While i do think they should beat Madonna i wouldnt under estimate Madonna either as she has a few formats available and has great fan support.

Let’s wait and see :claire:

(Still, I got every finger crossed for the PC to be #1!)

I think they went too early with that one, they’ve made it private! (It was One for Sorrow Steps 25 Revisited Mix).

Looks like this will be an international release as I see it for preorder on foreign sites :)

It might chart in Ireland, Belgium (Flanders) and Australia.

All albums have seen a release here and they’ve all charted.

We”re also only getting the standard 1CD version of this from what I can tell.
