That was AMAZING! So ridiculous but I feel a bit teary after watching it. It's been an excellent year for Steps feel so happy for them, they really proved themselves as one of the most successful pop acts in the UK ever!

 

Also MASSIVE hats off to Steps team, they haven't really put a foot wrong with the Platinum Collection campaign. Aside from some bigger promo opportunities everything else has been spot on and a lot of effort and love has been put into the band and their back catalogue. :wub:

 

 

Let's hope they don't stay away too long we've been so spoilt the last couple of years.

What is listed as "Disc 1" is the correct track list, the "Disc 2" is definitely a mistake in that listing!

Absolutely, great to see Loves Got A Hold On My Heart make it. Despite it being a lead single I think it would’ve made it regardless. Isn’t it one of there better sellers?

Somehow, yes.

In a way its strange as Steps were what seemed at the time getting more and more popular but all the singles from Step one sold better than loves got a hold on my heart which was the lead single. Leaving aside im a big fan of the song but better best forgotten did really well as a final single from step one considering how big the album was.

Really wish this album had a far better chart run than it got.

That's something I can overlook although it is a shame they ended up number 2 so many times.

 

I ordered the picture disc for a decent price :heart: Hopefully it’ll arrive soon!

50k sounds generous to me weren’t they on less than 30k when they dropped out of the charts? WTFHP2 was on around 35 and that hasn’t hit silver yet.
