The Flashmob Remix of Deeper Shade of Blue could be released as part of this upcoming era?

ITV's "The National Lottery's Big Jubilee Street Party", airing on Saturday 4th June from 5pm-7pm, includes Steps performing a Megamix. I'm quite sure we'll find out more about the upcoming Greatest Hits album before then! Wednesday 1st June seems likely to me. 2nd/3rd June are Bank Holidays.

Sorry for the triple post:

Steps have Platinum party . . like Her Maj

STEPS have been reunited longer than their first spell together – and today announce upcoming greatest-hits album The Platinum Collection to mark 25 years since 1997 debut single 5,6,7,8.

But they insist it is not a sign they are breaking up again. They split after first hits record Gold in 2001 and have been back since 2017.

In an exclusive chat, Lisa Scott-Lee said: “We’ve been there, got the T-shirt. We haven’t talked about splitting up because Steps is for ever and there is so much love out there for the group.”

The album, out on August 19, will feature 21 tracks, including two new ones, and will follow a series of UK shows,  starting with the Mighty Hoopla festival in Brockwell Park, South London, this Friday.

Lisa said of that: “It’s quite nostalgic and we’ve been loving rehearsing. It’s like, ‘Oh, look at you! We’re still going!’ Blue, Anastacia, Natalie Imbruglia, there’s loads of great acts on.”

Faye Tozer insists she and bandmate Lisa are still party girls and will celebrate after their set.

Faye, who also has bandmates Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian "H" Watkins, said: “It takes at least three hours to wind down after you’ve been on stage, it’s such an adrenaline rush.”

Lisa said: “After the shows we are on a high. You’ve got the crowd dancing, doing the moves back at you, singing the songs, it’s electric.

"It’s nice to chat about it afterwards with a glass of bubbles, then you go out and celebrate.”

Interestingly a title that Sony has already used before for a Steps release... https://www.discogs.com/release/3631635-Ste...inum-Collection

21 songs, 2 new... fingers crossed that's just the details for a standard version, and that there'll be a Deluxe?

Edit: Someone who seems to be in the know on Popjustice has said "Thats just the standard. They all (minus one) make the deluxe"

Omg, please tell me she's hinting at a performance of that song! :o

That’s bound to be “Light Up The World” then if you ask me… (or Thank Abba For The Music?)

There's so much speculation on Popjustice that it's hard to tell what are hints and what is just hopes, but "2 CD with 41 tracks" has been thrown into the conversation there.

To be honest, the only singles I’d accept them leaving off are the two I mentioned!

Justice for I Know Him So Well!

Oooh exciting... name is a little meh but I suppose it follows Gold in a way, guess Ultimate should have been called Diamond if they are inspired by the jubilee lol.

Looking forwards to seeing the tracklist now.
