16. What The Future Holds

 

 

Right time to get things a tad more upbeat, up at 16 is the lead single and title track from What The Future Holds. A great lead single, catchy and sits very well among their discography.

Overall I'm not, I kinda only listen to their slow songs by accident.

 

 

I also really like Under My Skin, two great choices there. (Hold My Heart).

 

Heartbreak In This City is good but I prefer the album version myself.

 

When I Said Goodbye is ok but wouldn't be in my Top 5 ballads.

 

 

Heartbreak in this city is catchy but I've moved on from it lately but I might get back into it again at a later date.

What the future holds is great! The way Lisa mentioned the involvement of Sia always makes me giggle a little. Also, great to hear more of Lee in this one :heart:

Good to see what the future holds safely in your top 20 and almost top 15.

Steps ballads where never a highlight in their discography but have helped show a different side to them.

15. Deeper Shade Of Blue

 

 

Apologies for the lack of posts today, Up next at 15 is an absolute Steps classic. Disclaimer I USED to hate this, mainly because I thought the video was cheesy af and I never really gave the song much of a chance back when it was released, However in recent years I got over that stupidity and became to love this song, the lyrics and dance beat, classic !

Yeah for DSOB :heart: Atm my ultimate favorite! Love the video and the more ‘grown up’ sound!

14. The Slightest Touch

 

 

At #14 is one of the bands most recent singles ‘The Slightest Touch’ this may be a cover but it feels 100% Steps. Absolute banger and bop. Would have loved to see them do a proper video and more performances of this!

Another great track! Shame they didn’t do more promo as The slightest could’ve been a nice top 75/100 hit.

Great songs in a row and another good outcome for the slightest touch.

The Slightest Touch has a mixed response on the forum but I am part of the love fanbase.
