Now we have an official release date for Gaga's upcoming soundtrack single, do you think it will get a full push and be supported by radios and streaming services?

Previous eras have been kind to Gaga as the first 2 singles from Chromatica received support and obviously ASIB songs have been everywhere! But will this single receive the same treatment given it's a soundtrack single and perhaps not likely to be the all-encompassing behemoth that was A Star is Born...

What do you predict?

The Spotify Twitter account seems to be replying to tweets made about the song by Gaga so I hope that indicated they'll be supporting it!

As for Radio, I have read it's being sent to US radio but I suppose they'll only get behind it based on the reception and if it's radio friendly (who knows with Gaga?).

I've voted yes to both regardless! (wishful thinking x)

Yes in the UK, Radio 2 will probably playlist it. Lady Gaga is more Radio 2 than Radio 1 now.

Probably true given its a soundtrack single and looking to be a big ballad... but didn't Radio 1 support Chromatica singles hugely?

Yes to both! I can see even US pop radio supporting it to some extent (that is the G.U.Y. levels)

Delete, don't jinx it

Yes to both!

I hope the radio stops playing the same songs from years ago and gives Gaga a chance.

Being sent to US radio confirmed! :cheer:

May 2nd, what a messy release, I hope it works. 🙏🏻

“Hold My Hand” will officially impact US Hot AC Radio on May 9th.

:cheer:

And Pop Radio on May 10th.

Yes they did, which makes that an extremely bizarre comment even by his standards.
