Future released his latest album on Friday and 'WAIT FOR U', a collaboration with Drake & Tems, looks like it will become a top 10 hit this week.

 

 

I've never really got the hype for Future (aside from Mask Off which is the pinnacle of the 'mumble rap' genre) so I probably won't check out the album.

The album debuts at #2 and Wait For U did indeed become only his 2nd top 10 single. I heard it yesterday and it's not a bad song but the mixing seems slightly off with it. Can hear Tems way more than Future in his verse.

'WAIT FOR U' has debuted at #1 in the US, I wasn't really following predictions this week so had no idea it was even in contention to dethrone Harry! Must have been doing giant numbers on Apple Music.

 

Future's 2nd #1 (both of which have been Drake collabs) and Drake's 10th making him only the second artist to debut in the 21st century to get to 10 #1s following Rihanna. Also gives Drake the record for now for most #1 debuts with 6, although BTS will no doubt match that again in a few weeks.
