November 12, 20222 yr He really should have kept the original album release date then because you aren’t going to get any better promo for it than Strictly. I don’t think it will make that much difference. Moving the release date has encouraged people who bought the album in June to buy additional copies of his album now for meet & greets. He is on the charm offensive and his team is doing everything to keep the pre-orders high. Edited November 12, 20222 yr by Chloe00x
November 13, 20222 yr I hope he can achieve album success, he and his team are working so hard since he entered Eurovision and it hasn't stopped since.
November 13, 20222 yr “Aspiring singer Cruz Beckman – who’s the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham – was ‘blown away’ by Sam Ryder’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year and decided to approach the Space Man songwriter Max Wolfgang about the opportunity of working with him”. Eurovision changing lives B-) His album will be fine 💿
November 16, 20222 yr This was so cute Sam serenading his best mate Scott Mills to a re-imagined Space Man/All The Way Over @1592826189667700736
November 18, 20222 yr ffs again ! hope he performs All The Way Over on strictly Performing a cover of You're The Voice Not sure if he's also performing a second track
November 18, 20222 yr I thought it was strange but on It Takes Two the creative director said Sam was asked to sing that particular song in Blackpool. He’s been singing it on his tour so obviously he knew about it. It sounds like it’s for the group dance tbh. Then elsewhere it says he is the guest for the results show to perform one of his songs. November 21, 20222 yr Effortless. Would love this to do something but I think it's only benefitted on iTunes. I guess he'll be waiting on Eurovision next year to possibly get another top 40 hit.

To be honest I would rather Sam release music that he wants with the range he has rather than boxing himself to the charts with mainstream pop or TikTok music. The response to his performances last night is insane, the general public love him and good for him! It's more promotion for his album than anything else which has 100% worked. It's weirdly also benefited Space Man on iTunes. Btw I heard 3 unreleased songs from his album and ATWO is nothing like them or his EP. "Put A Light On Me", "OK" and "Deep Blue Doubt" are all (not in a bad way) strangely different too. Edited November 21, 20222 yr by Chloe00x
November 21, 20222 yr ‘Deep Blue Doubt’ is really good and should have been a single instead of ‘Somebody’.
November 21, 20222 yr Great performance on strictly, hopefully this can take off for him, i liked somebody but this is better.
November 23, 20222 yr Good start for the album i know itunes doesnt count for much but least its doing aswell as it can there.
November 24, 20222 yr I saw Sam live tonight and enjoyed it. Certainly there are some better songs on the album than Somebody. I’m starting to really love All The Way Over, and he performed a song I think called Mountain which was fantastic, very anthemic. He said he only wrote it two weeks ago so it’s not on the album. Put A Light On Me is like Rudimental and Ed’s Lay It All On Me with the production of The Police. Space Man was a 10 minute affair, which threw everything in!
November 25, 20222 yr I saw Sam live tonight and enjoyed it. Certainly there are some better songs on the album than Somebody. Was he… calmer? I heard he was over-excited on Wednesday and it derailed some of the songs that some people actually knew. There’s 3 songs from the album I haven’t heard (Ten Tons, Lost In You and Crashing Down) but I don’t think he’s played them anywhere - not sure why! Edited November 25, 20222 yr by Chloe00x
November 25, 20222 yr I didn't realise Radio 2 B-playlisted All The Way Over last week that explains why it's getting a lot of radio play.
November 25, 20222 yr Was he… calmer? I heard he was over-excited on Wednesday and it derailed some of the songs that some people actually knew. There’s 3 songs from the album I haven’t heard (Ten Tons, Lost In You and Crashing Down) but I don’t think he’s played them anywhere - not sure why! Not particularly! I love him and he's the happiest, most enthusiastic singer out there right now, but I guess he's a bit like Loreen in that he's unlikely to ever stick to the melodies on the studio recordings. His vocals, ad libs and jamming are extremely impressive but for sure he veers off the original melodies of the songs a lot so you can't always keep track of where he's going with them to properly sing along. I enjoyed it for sure, great fun but I guess it did feel less like most concerts I go to where you sing along to familiar songs that don't veer too far from the originals, and more like a vocal masterclass/call and response thing - a bit like a Christian worship concert as a friend put it.
November 29, 20222 yr Shame all the way over missed the top 100 on Friday I was hoping it would sneak in.
