Another great step one album track doing well on the rate, seeing this and back to you on a rate always keeps me happy :D

Yeah but you had to cope with A Hundred Years of Shit on this one too FTF!

Very true and a few other dodgy ones but back to you, stomp and love u more are making up for it.

In the end, we all have pretty good tastes really…

Very true and its more more enjoyable seeing some variety in the countdowns.

Great countdown so far spiceboy!

It's so different and will really shake up the Ultimate 25 Countdown!

Love U More has secured many fans and has always remained popular among fans.

Okay next!!!!

In 9th place we are going to the members of Steps favourite album, (judging by all their solo cds for the GH) Buzz! Give it up for HERE AND NOW! This was very briefly my favourite Steps track when I was younger, and was second favourite for quite a long time. It has fallen down the ratings some over the years but still remains a favourite from the group. Such a funky track and the single mix is also an improvement on the album track. Also love the video so millennium in style, while also showing more maturity for the group in style too.

Here and now is SUCH a good song!

In 8th place we are going back to the song that RELAUNCHED Steps as the POP LEGENDS that they are today. Also their last UK top 40 hit (and charting single) SCARED OF THE DARK. They really could not have come back with a more perfect song to relaunch them it is excellent really ticks every box needed for a comeback single, easily one of the best comebacks ever and it really deserved to chart much much much higher. The promotion for it was excellent too it surprises me a little that their promotion on an independent label was actually better than what BMG have done for them...

Very true about the promotion they were better independent and same with sales.

Aaaaaaand you are getting a THIRD one today!!! (Time to wrap this up!) In 7th place we have ONE FOR SORROW! This really is the perfect pop song for me, beautiful, melodic, great lyrics which are quite sad in a joyful song, it really represents everything that makes Steps an excellent pop group. My ONLY gripe with it is that it is far too Claire heavy otherwise I think it would be my number one Steps song. Never liked that the other girls didn't get parts in it and there really was no reason for it.

I would have done something like this:

First verse - Claire

Bridge - Claire and Faye

Chorus - All

Second verse - Faye

Bridge - Claire and Faye

Chorus - All

Solo chrous - Lisa

Chorus to end - All

Would have worked just as well.

I get why one for sorrow is so popular and actually listening to the party mix yesterday kinda got the song back in my head again but they have so many better songs.

Very true about the promotion they were better independent and same with sales.

I think that is partly due to a decrease in sales and increase in streaming though tbf. Also TOTDF had a re-release, if you count Part 2 as WTFH overall release then the sales would be very similar:

TOTDF / CATD - approx 130,000 in UK

WTFH P1 & 2 - approx 120,000 in UK

TOTD also had the Hype of their first studio album in years which might have helped casual sales but WTFH did have more formats, either way they are doing OK still achieving top 2 albums that go gold.

Three in one day?!?! Oh go on be a rebel and do four!

Great time for revealing songs with the forum so active.

WTFH hasn’t has either album go gold

I was thinking more combined for WTFH.
