The Platinum Collection will sell above these numbers from previous releases.

Continuing the celebration of royalty I will give out three more YES THREE MORE Pop Royalty songs today!!! In 6th place we have SAY YOU'LL BE MINE! Always loved the melody of this song its such a feel good happy few minutes of pop perfection! The video is also excellent and I think my favourite Steps video... although Deeper shade of Lee definitely gives it a run for its money! I think this should have been released second from Steptacular over After the love has gone which they clearly thought was going to be another one for sorrow for them. Think it would have been a bigger hit for them if they have. I also have a very fond memory of getting steptacular for christmas in 1999 and this song being on the TV as I opened it (music channels what a blast from the past!)

Innnnnn 5th place we have.... my other favourite Steps video DEEPER SHADE OF LEE!!!! (blue) This was such a different song for Steps and has aged so well. It is one of those pop tracks that even some non-pop fans will admit they quite like (like my dad) and it was nice to see H get a starring moment seeing as Lee had it with 5678 and the girls all have their own parts up until this point. The video is so cool and again very different for the group up until that point. Obviously the highlight is Lee's solo scenes I mean wheeeew. It was truly one of the points where I was very very confused as a child as to why I wanted Lee to be my favourite all of a sudden (up until then die hard Lisa and Faye fan). I remember having the Gold VHS and rewinding that bit several times loool.

Overall and excellent song and a bona fida Steps classic.

Now your third and final one today brings us right up to their most recent era (if you combine part 1 and 2) and in 4th place iiiiissss SOMETHING IN YOUR EYES!!!

I mean what can I say!? The fact this was not a 10 week #1 is criminal, the fact it didn't even chart is just horrendous HORRENDOUS!!! It is amazing, everything about it is utter perfection from start to finish, vocals, lyrics, dance moves, video, performances (although Lisa and H were a little ropey at the Royal Variety)... should be one of their biggest hits and it's a crime it's not. Well done Steps for this one, if covering random Scandanavian artists gives us this type of material then they can do a full album as far as I am concerned! It was also VERY close to third place like there was NOTHING in it.

It really has aged well and yes, Lee!

A countdown isn’t correct without this one!

Three goodies in a row and im really happy to see say youll be mine in the top 10, i know i rated something in your eyes much lower in my own countdwon but its still great and deeper shade of blue is also great song that is hugely popular.

In third place we are visiting the Steps stately home for IT’S THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL! Such a stunning pop track in every way and again nice to see all steps members get solo lines. The video is amazing and I love the room on the megamix video too! Always a highlight live aswell. The only reason this beat SIYE though was purely nostalgia I truly could not decide between the songs.

Excited for your top 2!!

Back to you is a really nice album track that first great on their debut!

Happy to see WTFH high in your countdown. For some reason it needed to grow on me but I love it now. Great that most of their comeback material is as good as their old stuff

I didn’t enjoy Tragedy for a moment as I heard it too much. Now I’m back to enjoying this one. Glad it was a huge hit, even some nice placings outside the UK!

I do prefer the original but I do enjoy Love u more!

Another strong place for ITWYMMF but I just dont get the big appeal that others have for the song.

Here and now is good, though not their ultimate best imo.

Scared, what an amazing comeback!! I was over the moon when I first heard this.

One for sorrow is a Steps classic  The song that made me an official fan!

For me I was a fan from 5 6 7,8 and last thing on my mind hooked me fully in.

I think I overlooked SYBM with my countdown tbh! Lovely track.

DSOB

Something is the Steps classic out off their new material for me. Such a great and uplifting song!

ITWYMMF, fantastic song!!

Some great tracks so far SB! Very curious what your top 2 will look like!

Fantastic countdown so far, have really loved the last few reveals!

Looking forward to the top 2!

In seconnnnnd place we are back to reunited steps it’s the one and only LIGHT UP THE WORLD!!!

Such a gorgeous pure steps ballad which deserved to be #1 for weeks on end pure beauty!

JUST KIDDINNNNNNNG :dancing:  :funky:

For the true second place it is indeed reunited Steps and it’s from Tears On The Dancefloor… NEON BLUE!

When I first heard this I fell in love with it and I’ve only continued to love it ever since. It has such a nostalgic feel to it I find it quite beautiful. Funnily enough this probably would be my number one except for nostalgia making my top song get the top spot (back to retro steps). I love the video too they all look amazing (especially my man). I was really gutted when it didn’t chart at all for some reason I thought it might have a chance of going top 40 like scared of the dark delusions eh! A great steps track and a classic!

Love love love Light Up The World!!

Wait what?!?! Hahaha.

Neon Blue is great, I probably don’t pay it the full attention it deserves though.
