May 31, 20223 yr Good to see your views! Now a quick review by moi. All Out Of Love 9/10 Cheesy and camp as f. Still, very much a guilty pleasure of mine The only thing that’s putting me off is H’s singing. DJ 6/10 I was mad when they left the group. I did enjoy this when it got released. Didn’t stand the test of time for me. Very okish listening to it again. Another You, Another Me 3/10 A little too much for me. Not in a good way. Some dated production as well. And H’s singing… Beauty and The Beast 5/10 The song itself is not bad. Shame they didn’t add much flavor of themselves to it. Half a Heart 6.5/10 Not bad, a little poppy/rnb vibe kind of song. Not bad listening to it again. I’m going to check the video out later! All I Want Is You 6.5/10 I’m out of love part 2. Still, quite enjoyable. Centre of My Heart 7.5/10 Another guilty please of mine. Very ESC the beginning of the 2000’s (and placing around number 15). I don’t know why I enjoy this one but for some reason I do! You’re a Love Song 4/10 Zzzzzzzz…. Two Hearts Beat As One 5/10 Another boring inoffensive ballad. #filler No Turning Back 5.5/10 Another inoffensive pop song. Nothing at All 5/10 I must say some production of this album feels very dated. This is another track that suffers that faith. At this point the album could’ve lost some songs like the last 4. There you Were 4/10 This one is dragging on too long for me. Also a bit cliché lyrics. Meh. Invincible 4/10 Zzzzzz… Too Close To Tears 7.5/10 Finally a decent song again! Upbeat, fun and very ESC as well. Let Me Carry You 4/10 Zzzzz…

June 29, 20223 yr My apologies that I never got around to doing this at the time. I will start it now with some quick summaries. 1. All Out of Love - I think this is the highlight of the album for me. It's such a great song and I can easily seeing this fit on what could've been a 2002 Steps album. 2. DJ - I loved this at the time but I was a little conflicted as I was still annoyed at how Steps came to an abrupt end. But when I listen to it in isolation I do enjoy it. 3. Another You Another Me - Another great song (the album is off to a great start). I'd have liked to see this be a single but can understand why it wasn't. 4. Beauty and the Beast - Not as good as the version from an animated fil or Celine's but miles ahead of John Legend and Arian's version. 5. Half a Heart - I actually really like this one and remember playing it constantly when I got the single of it. 6. All I Want Is You - This feels like a Steps b-side to me, like something that could've been on Baby Don't Dance if that single release went ahead. Saying that I do really enjoy it. 7. Centre of my Heart - Seven songs in and I'm really enjoying this album, another really good song for me. 8. You’re a Love Song - First dip for me but still a solid 6-7/10. 9. Two Hearts Beats as One - The slight dip continues, though it's not horrible. 10. No Turning Back - Another song that's fairly decent. Not single standard but a decent album track. 11. Nothing At All - Sounds a little 'early Britney' in production and I can't work out if that's a good thing or not. I kind of enjoy it though. 12. There You Were - Hmm I'm not really keen on this one. 13. Invincible - Not feeling this one at all sadly. 14. Too Close to Tears - This is great, I quite like this. It's a nice lift up after the last few tracks. 15. Let Me Carry You - A very nice easy listening song to close the album. This could've been cut to 11-12 songs and it'd be very decent for me. I'd have also included 'Don Give Up (Don't Let Go)' on the album ahead of a fair few other songs.
June 29, 20223 yr If albums are long the songs need to be really strong and its not the case with another you another me, they would have been better trimming it back to 11 or 12 songs like you mentioned, when an album has a few skip songs like this has it can feel a feel of a chore to listen to to if too long.
