c5k lead for Steps so far

Steps are on 16,609 copies so far and 5k ahead of Madonna and on double sales of Aitch. Pretty confident for them now think they’ve got this!

I just looked in the chart thread and saw no info so i was oh come on and give it to us so im glad to have find the info here, thats a great bit of info that lead looks great and gives me confidence they can do it as they have signings etc throughout the week and hopefully more casual sales, 25k looks very possible. 11k for Madonna isnt bad for a remix album and she could hold the number 2,

Whoever voted 25k could be right on it and there was only 1 voter for that amount.

I would say 20k plus is looking very definite now let’s hope they can get to 25k. 30k deffo isn’t happening unless there is a huge push and major price slash lol.

Well whoever voted 5k is proven wrong already! I also think the 15k+ is wrong I reckon they have it in them to sell 3.6k more by Friday.

Ya i think they should easily pass 20k at the least for Friday.

Its nothing less than they deserve as in the singles and albums they have ended up number 2 so many times, they are similar to Kylie in that way sometimes.

#1 with a 5k lead is a great start to the sales week. Hopefully they can keep the momentum strong through the week.

I think it will slow down alot but hopefully their own shop still has orders to ship and also the signings will help things to tick over nicely. The 8k lead in my opinion is more important than the 5k lead over Madonna as I think Aitch will sell more throughout the week.

I’m hoping they have a few digital exclusives lined up in the next day or two like with What The Future Holds Pt1 & 2. They would help a little.

I think they will work hard all week to attract sales where possible to hold their long awaited Number 1.

 

20,000 will be the very lowest they achieve for the full week.

3 and a half days until we find out if it debuted in the Australian top 50.

Steps album peaks have improved on each release in Australia since they returned with Tears on The Dancefloor.

If it continues The Platinum Collection will achieve Top 10 status as What The Future Holds Part 2 achieved a Number 11 peak there.

Yeah I think that’s right. I was going to buy it on iTunes here and I still may, I’m just holding out to see if any digital exclusives come to their store.

They can leave some sales for next week to help its second week chart performance.
