Massive collapse in sales. I’m surprised it’s dropped that much tbh.

‘Disco’ dropped 72% in first to second week.

If Tension drops 80% by end of week it should land around 10k.

I think we’re looking at 6-7k based on those midweek figures unless data is missing.

It's going to be nowhere near 10k if it doesn't get some offers etc.

Last week it did 20k sales from Friday onwards a lot where signed items and also the special download and cassettes that got released on 26th.

BMG will probably release another deluxe download for 4.99 with 2 new songs to try and grab sales.

15.99 for deluxe is expensive no? And itunes price is quite high too.

Need to entice casuals.

Maybe looking at 6k at the moment, unless they have another variant to release.

Some of those big streaming albums may over take her this week if not careful

I'm guessing 8k (without extra push) which would keep it in top 5.

Casual fans don't buy music that much any more sadly - they are more likely to stream.

How it is going to grab 5.3k when it only sold 2.8k on fri-sun?

I hope you are right though.

BMG probably have something to entice a few extra sales. Signed cassettes or another special download?

Sunday is always a "half-day", it's missing most of the streaming.

And this is where it needs to connect with the public rather than relying on fan multi buying post week 1.

We’ve had a ton of visibility from Kylie but no performances which won’t have helped.

I did expect a big drop in sales but top 6 is fine for week 2. Hopefully it can hold onto top 6, that would be nice.

If Tension can have a fall of 80%, then that is not much different to Disco and album sales have had a huge decline since Disco.

I am interested to see this weeks streams compared to Discos 2nd week streams to be honest.

A huge decline in sales is normal these days, especially with physical artists. Hopefully Kylie can continue to grow her streaming this era and the next era.

I hope the next era comes sooner rather than later. Maybe 2025? Just thinking of all the great songs that didnt make the Tension album.

Unless next year there is a reissue of the album with an extra CD with extra tracks?

I expect this will level out a little more over the rest of the week

They’ll want to milk us first

Deluxe Vinyl, Vegas Version and then Ex:Tension (Remixes)

It needs around 6,800 to go Silver this week doesn't it?

I am hoping that when streaming data is added, it should hopefully just manage it?

I am hoping it can at least manage 7k end of week total which should be enough to keep her top 5/6?

I'm thinking 2025 may be a bit too soon, mainly because assuming there's a Tension tour I expect that'll be wrapping up around mid-2025 and I can't envisage another album happening within 6 months of that.

People really aren't buying music anymore are they? It's the sign of the times I know, but I can't help but be kinda sad.
