It sits comfortably outside the top 20 songs of the year so far!
June 27, 20223 yr Author #20: We Don't Talk About Bruno - Carolina Gaitan, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Dianne Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz & Encanto Cast Total Chart Points [YTD]: 402 bvWRMAU6V-c Chart Run: 21-10-4-2-1-4-7-13-17-22-38 The world-famous We Don't Talk About Bruno from Disney's Encanto spent 1 week at the top of my chart and 6 weeks in the top 10! And although it was nowhere near as big on my chart as on the UK chart, it broke several records - The first soundtrack song to top my chart and the largest number of artists on a #1 single. It was also the first song to top the chart with someone's name (Bruno) in the title. This was later repeated when Maisie Peters' Cate's Brother topped my chart!

Latto's 2021 release blew up in 2022 after a remix with Mariah Carey & DJ Khaled, but the original version is the superior version imo, and that is the one that charted. It gave Latto a #6 peaking single! Not too shabby for a debut chart track!

Cate's Brother beat tough competition from Taylor Swift & Dermot Kennedy to top my chart in the week my 3 favourite artists each released singles. It became Maisie's 3rd #1 in less than a year and is still to leave the top 5! And after me finally seeing Maisie live at Wembley on Friday 24th June as a support act for Ed Sheeran, it could continue its run at the top of the chart!

And despte only spending 1 week inside the Top 10, it is one of the longest running hits of the year, and one of Avril's 3 songs in the Top 15 songs of the year so far! Although Personally wasn't released as a single, it came out as a deluxe track on Only Honest On The Weekend, It outperformed some of the singles from the album, including Run, the single released for the deluxe version! Personally had a slow start, but easily cemented itself as a huge hit for Becky, giving her a 8th Top 10!

Good going for someone who's career began over 20 years ago!
