July 2, 20223 yr Hi there Riser! Nice to see "Remind Me" at the top, as well as the debut for "Afraid To Feel" in the top 5, "Green Green Grass", "When You're Gone" and "Don't Forget My Love" in the top 10, the big gains for "About Damn Time", "Thousand Miles" and "Space Man" and the debuts for "Glimpse Of Us", "Late Night Talking", "Maybe You're The Problem", "Hold My Hand", "21 Reasons" and "No One Dies From Love". Great chart!
July 2, 20223 yr :hi: Jordan! My faves 1. Tom Grennan – Remind Me [5-1] good song but I preferred his big hit from last year and 'Found What I've Been Looking For' 2. Lauren Spencer-Smith – Flowers [18-7-2] I happened to stumble across the fact that Lauren was born and grew up in Portsmouth UK but moved to US years ago :o I'm not too far off Portsmouth area myself. Weird fact there. I've not been a fan of either of her songs unfortunately but this one is slightly better than the other one. 3. Ed Sheeran feat. Lil Baby – 2step [36-6-3] 4. Future feat. Drake & Tems – Wait For U [34-4] 5. LF System – Afraid To Feel banger alert :music: 7. Bob Moses – Love Brand New [1-7] 8. George Ezra – Green Green Grass [16-8] 9. Shawn Mendes – When You’re Gone [25-17-9] 10. Diplo & Miguel – Don’t Forget My Love [39-27-10] 11. Harry Styles – As It Was [10-2-11] 12. Lizzo – About Damn Time [28-12] 13. The Kid Laroi – Thousand Miles [24-13] 14. Florence + The Machine – My Love [38-4-14] I'm not a fan of her in general, only liked 'Ship To Wreck' before but this is ok. Can't abide her voice sadly. 15. Joji – Glimpse Of Us actually a lovely song which I do get some of the critics on here but the strong reactions are a bit much when there's been much blander stuff in the chart that's similar to this. He has a tinge of Hozier to him I think. 18. Harry Styles – Late Night Talking I see others prefer this over MFASR but I prefer Sushi oops. Don't get how people can call that bland and not this but each to their own lol. Maybe this'll grow but it's not doing it for me. 20. Doja Cat – Get Into It (Yuh) [22-1-8-20] 21. Sam Ryder – Space Man [40-21] nice jump! 22. Tion Wayne & La Roux – IFTK [39-22] I prefer to this to dreadful original  (I did like it for 3 weeks tbh but grated on me quickly) 23. Ava Max – Maybe You’re The Problem shame this isn't likely to smash. Not helped by her miming away last night  Maybe she should move on quickly or try again later down the road. 26. Burna Boy – Last Last undecided whether I like this or not but the intro and backing is fine. 27. Latto – Big Energy [15-30-11-6-9-27] pretty bored of this now but whoops at it never managing a top 20 peak 31. Ruth B. – Dandelions great little tune that likes to hang around outside the top 40 32. Tate McRae – She’s All I Wanna Be [13-2-7-18-32] 33. Em Beihold – Numb Little Bug [8-14-19-33] 34. Elley Duhe – Middle Of The Night I'm a bit gutted this didn't sneak a week top 40 :( 35. Lady Gaga – Hold My Hand not too fond of this but not bad either. 36. Cat Burns – Go [5-4-15-36] very bored of this now and want it to go, literally lmao 37. Benson Boone – In The Stars I like this as well, nothing stellar but nice message and cute track 39. Nathan Dawe feat. Ella Henderson – 21 Reasons Great chart :D
July 5, 20223 yr Hey Jordan! 1. Tom Grennan – Remind Me [5-1] Is this Tom's first number one on your chart? How have his previous singles fared? 2. Lauren Spencer-Smith – Flowers [18-7-2] I'm not feeling this at all. Her last single grew on me a little eventually but I can't get into this one. 3. Ed Sheeran feat. Lil Baby – 2step [36-6-3] Not my favourite Ed single if I'm honest. It's fine but he's released much better! And Lil Baby really doesn't add much to it, in fact I probably prefer the original. 5. LF System – Afraid To Feel I still find the constant tempo change a bit jarring but I don't mind this otherwise. I'm here for it getting to #1 though just for the fun of having such a unique and different sounding dance song at the top :) 8. George Ezra – Green Green Grass [16-8] 9. Shawn Mendes – When You’re Gone [25-17-9] Definitely his best single in a long time, it's a massive shame it flopped. 10. Diplo & Miguel – Don’t Forget My Love [39-27-10] 11. Harry Styles – As It Was [10-2-11] 12. Lizzo – About Damn Time [28-12] 14. Florence + The Machine – My Love [38-4-14] 15. Joji – Glimpse Of Us I found this really dull at first but it's kinda grown on me. 18. Harry Styles – Late Night Talking 19. Sam Smith – Love Me More [26-19] 21. Sam Ryder – Space Man [40-21] 22. Tion Wayne & La Roux – IFTK [39-22] 23. Ava Max – Maybe You’re The Problem You're a little late to the party with this (but not as late as the general public :( ) but it's another great song from her! If she was around 10 years ago she'd be a Gaga-level star but I guess people just aren't here for pure pop these days. Btw next time you hear the line 'You're short-fused, just like a timebomb'... don't you think it sounds like she's saying 'just like a tampon'? I can't unhear that now, and I pointed it out to my daughter and now she sniggers every time she hears that line  27. Latto – Big Energy [15-30-11-6-9-27] Six months in the chart, that's an unusually long runner for you :o 32. Tate McRae – She’s All I Wanna Be [13-2-7-18-32] 33. Em Beihold – Numb Little Bug [8-14-19-33] 35. Lady Gaga – Hold My Hand I still haven't got round to watching the film, have you? 36. Cat Burns – Go [5-4-15-36] 38. Halsey – So Good This sounded promising on first listen but hasn't really held up on subsequent listens, which is kinda the opposite of what usually happens with songs for me  39. Nathan Dawe feat. Ella Henderson – 21 Reasons A bit trashy and basic but I find it really catchy, especially the 'do-do-do' bits :D Great chart this month!

Well, those are my other two faves of his, so we sort of agree there ;) 2. Yeah it's interesting, and actually she moved to Canada! 5. And now an official #1 banger *.* 15. I personally don't get the critics on here :P Funny enough it reminded me of 'Take Me To Church' when I listened to it yesterday! 18. Do people really call Sushi bland? It's so different! I think it'll get more annoying once it's been used in 7 or 8 adverts :P 22. I meeeean, I prefer the original BUT 'Bulletproof' will always be the best La Roux song  23. So frustrating! I didn't know about her miming oops. I think she can still get a hit with the right song, just not sure why this wasn't the right song  27. Same 31. Indeed, what a shame it never climbed a little higher! 34. See above 35. She's done much, much better, that's for sure. 36. Aww, I'm done with it now too tbh, no need for it to be top 10 or on SCR anymore. 37. Yeah it's grown just enough for me! Nice effort from him! Thanks for commenting :D Hey Jordan! 1. Tom Grennan – Remind Me [5-1] Is this Tom's first number one on your chart? How have his previous singles fared? 2. Lauren Spencer-Smith – Flowers [18-7-2] I'm not feeling this at all. Nathan Dawe feat. Ella Henderson – 21 Reasons A bit trashy and basic but I find it really catchy, especially the 'do-do-do' bits :D Great chart this month!Hey Mango! 1. Yes! 'Little Bit Of Love' peaked at #15, and that's the only other song of his I've charted :o 2. I really like it, as you can tell, but it's way too short! 3. I might prefer the solo version too actually. I'm sure the Lil Baby version was meant to help its chart performance in the US, but it's only peaked at #50 here so far. That said, it's done far better on airplay than 'The Joker And The Queen' did. 5. Aww I think the tempo change is the best part! 9. Agreed! 15. It took me a few listens and it's still growing, a contender for my next #1 :o 23. Sorry, I definitely hear 'timebomb' and not 'tampon' 27. Yes it is, even my recent #1s haven't managed that! 35. Nope! I might catch it while it's still in theaters, otherwise will wait until it's on streaming. 38. I like it more than her last album at least, but it's still a pretty underwhelming effort and she's capable of better :( 39. Yep I can appreciate that much, clearly not meant to be taken too seriously! Thanks for commenting :D
July 9, 20223 yr Hey dude! Remind me is a decent #1. Congrats. Afraid to feel is really good. I'm not quite sure it's #1 worthy but we'll see. When you're gone is doing exceedingly well here. It's absolutely gutting it was a flop for him. It should have been massive. Maybe you're the problem entering quite low :o hopefully it can climb from here. Fab chart ^_^

Fab chart ^_^Hi James - I agree so much on When You're Gone! I'm glad it got him back in the top 40 at least, but certainly deserved top 10 like most of his other hits. I hope Ava can climb too, it doesn't help that radio's barely playing her so I don't get to hear it often :( Thanks for commenting! Hi Jordan! :) 5. LF System – Afraid To Feel I finally got into this once I got used to the tempo changes  7. Bob Moses – Love Brand New [1-7] SO good! 15. Slightly less hot this weekend but still uncomfortable to be outside. I still prefer this over winter, no matter how hot it gets  The tempo changes are definitely the best part of Afraid To Feel! *.* And obviously I recommend 'Glimpse Of Us', but actually I've never listened to Joji before so can't compare it to his other songs. And I think I've gone right up your street again with my BJSC entry :o Thanks for commenting! :D
