I think the issue is we have got this so soon after Jade's so you do almost compare (At least I do even subconsciously) but they are very different albums. I adore Rocket Scientist it's such a beautiful track.

It's all a massive step up from Tears for me

NUMBER 2 IN MONDAYS UPDATE 😮😮

Has anyone ordered the lyric book? Could you dm me when you get it to let me know your thoughts. I'm undecided! I have a personally signed CD and the Pink Vinyl personally signed but the lyric book looks really cute.

Oops I actually prefer Tears to a lot of these tracks. From first listen, I enjoyed Punchline and PUD the most. I found the album quite monotonous/dull on the most part though tbh.

This is not bad, singles are definitely the highlights! I am so glad that she left the other songs off the album - the songs do feel more fleshed out. I’m so glad she’s got to do this. Unfortunately, I do think it’ll have a Nadine-style chart run

Before I forget Perrie said at the event ‘Sand Dancer’ is the name of the place she did karaoke in her home town.

It is indeed! The Crab Shack also gets mentioned which was for a time my favourite place to go in South Shields for drinks 😅

Surely not? She’ll chart higher than 47 for sure. I can see being 6/7ish

I don't know if its a album that will hold up over time but right now I love it. The only tracks I don't care for much actually are the singles minus Cute Agression and Miss You. Least fave is Bonnie and Clyde. Fave is Punchline.

I feel like Punchline should have been pushed as the single?

Anyone got any early predictions? I’m thinking 7/8k on Monday and then ending on 10.5/11k by Friday?? I’m guessing 4 as the chart position.

I think it'll chart fine. I almost believe Perrie playing it so safe lands her in the Westlife zone where the Mums will ensure a solid charting but the single charts will never be ablaze.

Perrie is someone who should benefit from a Christmas album.

i havent listened yet but i will.... the album cover reminds me of Dannii's Girl album!

I was worried I wouldn't like the album after those really short snippets were released, but just listened through twice and thouroughly enjoyed every track! Sand Dancer, Cute Aggression, Where You Are and Goodbye My Friend were my standouts along side the singles. Whatever they did when they went back and reworked parts of the album payed off big time!

I'm just hoping for a top 10 placement this week. There doesn't seem to be as many variants or signings than Jade from what I can tell.

I’m pleasantly surprised with the album after thinking she had a couple of dud songs, overall the album is really good and very cohesive. It is very much giving Kelly Clarkson but that’s not a bad thing for me!

Sand Dancer, Rocket Scientist, Baby Steps, Bonnie & Clyde, Same Place and Goodbye My Friend are all brilliant !

It really is a beautiful album. There’s nothing groundbreaking about it but I don’t think that matters because her vocals and some of the songs lyrics are stunning.

I’m rooting for this now she seems like she’s hungry to sell as many as possible - Back at Banquet today to do more personalised albums.

She def has potential to build on this. I think she's best off going the Leona route and being more of a ballad vocalist than a bells and all pop performer.

I liked Baby Steps. Overall though the album has a very “Capital FM” vibe to it and I just feel like Perrie can do better than this.
