I really think it's an excuse. They realised BLACKPINK are releasing tonight and knew they'd take all the social media hype away for the weekend. Hence why there were rumours of them delaying it earlier today/late last night, but now they're using the leak as an excuse. :lol:

 

It's ok though, coz 'Heartbreak Anthem' was leaked like 3 months before it was released or something and went on to be a major hit for Little Mix still.

Blackpink are lucky to scrape the top 40 half the time I can’t see them delaying it JUST because of that, surely they’d want to avoid the VMA week instead? Unless there’s plans we don’t know about

 

I still think it’s coming at midnight US time, the original “source” that said it was delayed was just some random on ATRL
