Posted July 27, 20224 yr Surprise! Following on from their #1 12th album 'Unlimited Love' earlier this year, RHCP aren't hanging around with delivering another album as 'Return of the Dream Canteen' is out on October 14th! No lead single yet, just a release date, pre-order, and an album cover - https://store.redhotchilipeppers.com/uk/ret...-vinyl-2lp.html
July 27, 20224 yr Flea added that the album’s first single was called “Tippa My Tongue,” and that Return of the Dream Canteen would arrive Oct. 14. Soon after, the Chili Peppers’ social media accounts switched over to reflect the announcement, with the Rick Rubin-produced double LP now available to preorder.
July 27, 20224 yr Author Ahhh that’s annoying! Hopefully The 1975 move, but I think it’ll be close if not. Though I think I’d put my money on The 1975 as Unlimited Love sold 27k, and I’d expect this one will be a bit lower.
July 27, 20224 yr Yeh the 1975 would be more of a hyper comeback you’d think especially with preorders and vinyls etc. surprised they are back so soon, the first album this year was decent but was like 20 songs long or something!
July 28, 20224 yr oh so a RHCP vs 1975 chart battle on albums on Oct 14! (and Ava Max :D) Poor brave Ava
August 25, 20224 yr Author Yeah, Tippa My Tongue is a certified BOP! I do need to actually listen to Unlimited Love in full first though.
September 1, 20224 yr I think I prefer 'Tippa My Tongue' to 'Black Summer' which wasn't bad at all but this seems like a return to their funkier sound.
September 24, 20224 yr Author Here it is. It's decent but didn't make nearly as much of an impact on me as 'Tippa My Tongue' did: pXMEXCT5ohY
