They were in the studio in Sweden working on “What Makes You Beautiful”. First single, the rollercoaster train just starting to climb the track. Someone comes into the room and says there are a couple of girls outside. Why? the band asks. They’re looking for you guys. For One Direction. “And we’re all just like, ‘But we’re in Sweden!’” Ah, the old, “who…us?” routine. Harry! Incorrigibly charming, dreamboat for starry-eyed youth the world over. And, as it turns out, a legitimate force in pop, the kind of artist who could bridge contemporary appeal with classic values in ways that felt fresh but familiar, universal. Part of what had made One Direction so great was that they never shied away from the pleasures of boy-band pop, but never patronised their audiences or fell back on gimmicks, either: Never mind the no-dancing policy; they were writing songs, exploring music as something beyond the show. In his solo career, Styles (born 1994, in Redditch, England) has done much the same, combining soul (“Watermelon Sugar”), confessional soft rock (“Sign of the Times”) and psychedelia (“Sunflower, Vol. 6”) with a modern touch, summarising where pop has been while also pushing it forward. “I’m just trying to go through life being a little less worried about stuff,” he said. “Definitely with working. Because ultimately, it’ll be okay.” He had a busy five years there. But he’s got a lifetime ahead of him. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2017 01 Sign Of The Times -1- MILLIONAIRE 2017 46 Sweet Creature -IG- 2017 51 Carolina -AT- 2017 58 Two Ghosts -2- 2017 64 Meet Me In The Hallway -AT- 2017 66 Kiwi -3- 2017 80 Only Angel -AT- 2017 87 Ever Since New York -AT- 2017 99 Woman -AT- 2019 03 Lights Up -1- 2019 04 Watermelon Sugar -4- MILLIONAIRE 2019 07 Adore You -2- MILLIONAIRE 2019 15 Falling -3- MILLIONAIRE 2020 26 Golden -5- 2022 01 As It Was -1- MILLIONAIRE 2022 02 Late Night Talking -2- 2022 03 Music For A Sushi Restaurant -AT- 2 x #1 | 6 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 8 x Top 20 | 9 x Top 40 | 17 x Top 100 Social Media Harry Styles http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/uploads/group_images/of_233.png
August 12, 20224 yr Author 15 | 17 | 5th week Steve Lacy Bad Habit 2nd single from Gemini Rights Released: 29th June 2022 Label: L-M Records Chart Statistics NE (21/07/2022) | 69-25-18-17-15 Sales: 20k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 00 Sales 18 Audio Streaming 00 Video Streaming Video VF-FGf_ZZiI Biography Throughout the 2010s, Los Angeles was America’s epicenter for forward-thinking Black music across the mainstream-to-underground spectrum. There were the hip-hop heavyweights of the Top Dawg Entertainment stable, the indie-rap provocateurs of the Odd Future crew, the electronic/jazz experimentalists of the Brainfeeder family—and standing at the intersection of all these game-changing forces was Steve Lacy. Born in Compton in 1998, Lacy (né Lacy-Moya) first surfaced as the teen wunderkind guitarist/producer for Odd Future offshoot The Internet, shaping their woozy funk atmospheres with beats he created on his iPhone. After The Internet’s 2015 opus, Ego Death, earned Lacy a Grammy nomination before he’d finished high school, his lo-fi approach attracted some high-profile clientele, and he’d go on to leave his smudged fingerprints on J. Cole’s chart-topping 4 Your Eyez Only and Kendrick Lamar’s epochal DAMN., among many others. All the while, Lacy was laying the groundwork for his own solo career, updating Prince’s psych-soul auteurism for a post-Mac DeMarco bedroom-pop age on endearingly off-the-cuff singles like “Dark Red” and “C U Girl.” (That tightrope walk between R&B swagger and outsider aesthetics carries over to his guest features for urbano star Kali Uchis, indie kingpins Vampire Weekend, and avant-funk maestro Thundercat.) His reputation as a certified vibe-master well established, Lacy revealed more of himself on his 2019 full-length debut, Apollo XXI, using the epic alt-rap suite “Like me” to address his bisexuality and fear of coming out. But that sort of candor is perfectly suited to his musical m.o.—whether he’s beatmaking on his phone or opening his heart, Lacy always puts a premium on honesty and intimacy. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2020 75 Live Without Your Love (Love Regenerator & Steve Lacy) 2022 15 Bad Habit -1- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100 Social Media Steve Lacy http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

In a career that goes back to the late ’70s, she’s produced hits like “This Woman’s Work,” “Babooshka,” and “Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)” alongside esoteric song cycles and conceptual works, inspiring artists as diverse as St. Vincent and Big Boi with her wonderfully witchy distillation of literary themes, musical idioms, and studio innovations. Born Catherine Bush in July 1958 in Kent, England, she grew up in a village farmhouse with an ever-supportive Roman Catholic family. Her two older brothers, John and Paddy, were her earliest collaborators; her big break came at age 16 when Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour helped her produce a demo tape and land a record deal. She was a sensation from the start with her Emily Brontë-inspired 1978 debut single, “Wuthering Heights,” summoning raw desire with her piercing soprano and the video's interpretive dance moves. She went on to produce a string of acclaimed albums throughout the ’80s and into the ’90s—including 1985’s masterful Hounds of Love, which veers between synth-pop, piano balladry, Irish folk, and earthy lyricism. Bush has been quieter in more recent years, releasing just three albums in the 2000s and 2010s. But her visionary work helped make way for the post-genre pop of artists like Lorde and Billie Eilish, while her artistic autonomy sets an important standard for the music industry. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1978 01 Wuthering Heights -1- MILLIONAIRE 1978 06 Man With The Child In His Eyes -2- 1978 44 Hammer Horror -1- 1979 14 Wow -2- 1979 10 Kate Bush On Stage -EP- 1980 16 Breathing -1- 1980 05 Babooshka -2- 1980 16 Army Dreamers -3- 1980 29 December Will Be Magic Again -NAS- 1981 11 Sat In Your Lap -1- 1982 48 The Dreaming -2- 1985 01 Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) -1- MILLIONAIRE 1985 20 Cloudbusting -2- 1986 18 Hounds Of Love -3- 1986 37 The Big Sky -4- 1986 09 Don't Give Up (Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush) 1986 23 Experiment IV -1- 1989 12 The Sensual World -1- 1989 25 This Woman's Work -2- 1990 38 Love And Anger -3- 1991 12 Rocket Man 1993 12 Rubberband Girl -1- 1993 26 Moments Of Pleasure -2- 1994 21 The Red Shoes -3- 1994 27 The Man I Love (Kate Bush & Larry Adler) 1994 26 And So Is Love -4- 2005 04 King Of The Mountain -1- 2011 87 Deeper Understanding -1- 2011 73 Wild Man -1- 2 x #1 | 4 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 16 x Top 20 | 25 x Top 40 | 29 x Top 100 Social Media Kate Bush http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png
August 12, 20224 yr Author 13 | 24 | 4th week Calvin Harris, Justin Timberlake, Halsey and Pharrell Williams Stay With Me 2nd single from Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2 Released: 15th July 2022 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (28/07/2022) | 29-22-24-13 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 07 Sales 27 Audio Streaming 84 Video Streaming Video eMQuofsOOzo Biography Talk about an unexpected career trajectory. In 2007, 23-year-old Calvin Harris released I Created Disco, a cheeky shot across dance music’s bow that presented him as Scotland’s brow-arched answer to LCD Soundsystem. Fast-forward a few years, and the scruffy fellow playing house-party host in the “Merrymaking at My Place” video is suddenly baring oil-slicked abs on Calvin Klein billboards. What happened, of course, is that Harris (born Adam Richard Wiles in 1984) traded up from the Amiga computer of his teens, developed some of the best studio chops in the business with deep-house rollers like 2013's “Thinking About You,” and helped spark EDM’s pop crossover with hits for Rihanna, Florence Welch, Ellie Goulding, and others. Along the way, he became one of the 2010s’ first DJ/producer/songwriter polymaths to earn top billing even on the songs in which he didn’t sing. No stranger to pyro-lit main stages—his percussive, synth-strafed 2014 single “C.U.B.A.” is big-room house at its most gargantuan—Harris has resisted getting boxed into any one sound. On 2017’s Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he lays down a set of slinky R&B jams for Frank Ocean, Migos, and Young Thug, while the 2018 singles “Promises,” with Sam Smith, and “One Kiss,” with Dua Lipa, proved just how versatile his vision of pop can be. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History Calvin Harris 2007 10 Acceptable In The 80s -1- 2007 03 The Girls -2- 2007 43 Merrymaking At My Place -3- 2008 01 Dance Wiv Me (Dizzee Rascal feat.
