There's only 70 copies left of the Amazon splatter.

How can you tell how many copies are left?

  • Virgin Music Group shouldn't be confused with Virgin Records. They are two completely different entities. Virgin Music Group isn't a record label; it just acts as a distributor for independent record

Let's look on the bright side: it's been 1,062 weeks and counting since the last Geri Halliwell album.

Just add them all to the basket - When you try to add 71 it states 'insufficient stock'

The other day when I did that there were 59 left, so… some cancellations? 😳

You can now preview ALL the tracks from Melanie C's Sweat on Beatport

Shw shoulsa released this typw of album as her second album... not milquetoast songs like Here It Comes Again...

So I’ve listened to all the previews now… and I have to say, I’m a bit underwhelmed.

There’s not a single ballad in sight. The whole album leans heavily into that pop/dance sound and while it’s polished, a lot of the tracks blur into each other. Nothing really stands out or hits emotionally, at least not from what we can hear so far.

It’s a shame because I’ve always loved Melanie’s softer side. Songs like You’ll Get Yours, or even albums like Reason, This Time or The Sea… that more intimate, emotional sound is what really made me connect with her as a solo artist.

The direction she’s been taking lately just isn’t really my thing, and I never thought I’d say that about a new Mel C album. It feels strange not being excited this time around, but honestly… I’m just not feeling it.

I’m not sure we’ve listened to the same album previews.

One Track Mind is an electronic ballad that’s very reminiscent of the Northern Star and The Sea eras.

Cashmere and Til It Breaks are both pop mid-tempos that could have easily fit on the self-titled album.

Emotional Memory is warm and euphoric. I got actual goosebumps while listening to the preview. It’s absolutely stunning.

Flick of the Wrist is trip-hop-flavoured. I’m very eager to hear that one in full.

The things she does with her voice on this album are amazing. I feel like we’re in for a treat.

I've always wondered that after the success of I Turn To You and Never Be The Same Again if there was a desire from any quarters that Reason should have been more dance and/or R&B orientated.

Hey guys

I’m trying to buy tickets for the signings thru HMV and is literally impossible :( I’m having issues thru the website and the app. Do you know if there is any issue for outside UK residents? I want to meet her! :(

Have you tried buying using a VPN?
