My hopes were low after reading the initial reactions on here.. and this is the most instantly I’ve loved an entire album of hers for a few era’s now. (Although Folklore is one of her greatest ever works)

 

Such a genius idea to not release a lead before or let us know the direction.. the shattered records!

I have listened to the album and it did not wow me. There were some great moments (I am so happy 'Anti Hero' is the lead single for example) but I am hoping many of the other tracks are growers. It's certainly no Folklore/Evermore though currently :(

Brilliant numbers. She’s such a force on a global scale now too not just in the US.

 

I’ve heard the standard 13 track album and enjoyed it. It’s definitely a step up from her last two pop orientated records (reputation and Lover) they both had high highs but some skips the standard of this was a strong listen throughout with no skips but I don’t think I instantly loved it as much as I did folklore / evermore which are two of my most listened albums in general BUT I wasn’t expecting another album like that and I appreciate the concept of this; it’s cohesive throughout. Her writing and storytelling though is so strong. I do think Anti-Hero is the most single worthy so can see why that got chosen but I was a fan of the album overall. Vigilante Shit is top tier too! I loved that :lol:

 

I’ll give the 3am tracks a listen too as individual tracks but what I’ve heard I’ve liked.

 

Definitely expecting her to get the UK #1 album with ease now too! And the chart double is looking good with Anti-Hero looking likely to give her a long awaited second #1 single here too!

The backdrop in the Maroon one is beautiful. I haven’t watched them all yet but watched quite a few. Snow on the beach was beautiful too. And labyrinth was kinda psychedelic!
