Montell Fish looks like he's going to get his first hit this week with 'Hotel' having a surprisingly strong start on Spotify.

 

I don't really know much about him but reading up, he is a dedicated-Christian artist who started off as a Christian Rapper but he seems to be a bit more fluid with genres now and has embraced singing. All the comments on the video appear to be comparing him to The Weeknd.

 

I can see why it's being compared to The Weeknd, it's definitely giving The Hills vibes! Not quite as good as that ofc but decent enough, would be good to see this become a hit.

Certainly an interesting one - I've been aware of Montell since earlier this year from his appearances on the Christian chart, this is certainly a step away from that though so interested as to what direction he takes next.
