This from ‘alt-country’ artist Zach Bryan has become a rare UK country hit, currently charting at #84. It’s quite nice, though I do find it a little dull. ‘Heavy Eyes’ is a much better song from him I think, it kinda sounds like a country Sam Fender!

love this, it's the opposite of dull,

not a banger either (but your definition of banger is rather weird too) :D

I don’t use the word ‘banger’ anywhere from in that post.

(505 is one, however)

I've just started listening to the country songs in the Hot 100 this year (I've been keeping up with new entries from all other genres for a while but used to skip the country ones on the assumption I wouldn't be a fan of them but decided to stop being so prejudiced this year :kink:) and this is by far the best one of the year, shocked to see it making any waves in the UK but I am here for it, a beautiful song and a real breath of fresh air for the genre in the mainstream with it taking more influence from folk and rock. (I'm sure there's plenty more underground country that's similar to this but it's certainly not making the charts, apart from a couple of Chris Stapleton songs which are in a somewhat similar lane)

Unfortunately the version that's most popular is actually a slightly different version to the one in the OP which takes away the harmonica which is part of the reason I enjoy it so much but the other version of it is still good as well ~ The one you posted is also available to stream though (tagged as 'Z&E's Version').

Reached a new peak on Spotify today! it doesn't look as though it'll be massive, but Top 75 would be nice.

It has certainly grown on me, although I agree with Bre that the harmonica in the 'Z&E's Version" really does lift it.
