Applause and Venus are the most overrated! Don't come for G.U.Y. (which is UNDERRATED) or the likes of Mary Jane Holland which is a banger of an album track :music:

It's between Applause and Venus for me The former should NEVER have been lead single and got the sales/live performances/promo the other songs deserve and the former is seemingly beloved by some fans and Gaga herself going on how hard she was pushing for it at the time of the album's release. I can't decide which is more overrated - help please x

Venus was ICONIC, although it got so much promo and did nothing

Venus is abysmal, but Guy isn't exactly creme de la creme!

G.U.Y. is super fun and I love the world play. It's quirky while still being huge sounding and insanely catchy. Plus the video (if edited down) is a vibe *.*

I do hate it. Her worst ever song. But it's only overrated by those that love it - it gets just as much hate, doesn't it? (Idk I don't know the fanbase that well tbh. :lol:)

The fanbase are all over that trash like a rash! They tried to get her to destroy her career by releasing it, like they tried with Judas! Fortunately she survived releasing that car wreck, but VENUS would have done an EXTREME amount of damage (and it did enough damage as just a promo song!)

I'll never forget the horror of her X Factor performance which should've focused solely on DWUW but instead we had *THAT* performance of Venus to go along with it And above both of them, Gypsy deserved that promo!

'Venus' may not be great, but I'd still take it over 'Applause' and some of the absolute shockers on here like 'Donatella' and 'Jewelz N Drugz'.

 

I pretty much forget it exists most of the time though.
