But we should've known she'd get a nomination because: Fun fact: Lady Gaga has been nominated for a Grammy Award every year for the past SIX years. February 5, 20232 yr Author “Top Gun: Maverick” didn’t win its nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media Album. It went to Encanto.
February 6, 20232 yr With the GRAMMYs now any future wins are just a bonus really. I’d always love to her see her win but she’ll always leave each ceremony on (at least) 13 wins so her losing out isn’t too bad and it’s not like she lost to a totally unknown song / soundtrack either… like it was everywhere.
February 6, 20232 yr If she keeps releasing jazz/traditional pop albums on a regular basis, I can see her winning several awards. Michael Bublé just won the traditional pop album category with an album nobody remembers. Winning the contemporary pop awards or general field awards are more difficult of course, a proper hit is needed to win those.
