Smith & Thell will forever be my top want for Melfest - I long for the day they decide they need it, which probably isn't yet.
  • 2 weeks later...

Tickets on sale now, looks like the Final is selling very well.

I was thinking 2023 may be the year I finally goto Melodifestivalen, but it’s such a hassle getting there from Canada. 2024 Perhaps.

  • 3 weeks later...

Loreen is apparently back! - with the songwriters behind Euphoria.

let hype commence I suppose

Omg. In 2017 I got tickets to the final as I knew she’d be in it…and then she wasn’t.

So I’d better wait to hear the song first this time :drama:

Hopefully whatever she sends is better than Statements (shouldn't be hard as that's in my top 5 worst melfest songs ever)

Not the Statements slander 💀💀💀

Should've won 2017 Melodifestivalen idc!!

Agreed. Statements deserved better, it should have at least made the final.

Excited to see Loreen again if it’s true, hopefully this gives her career the momentum it really needs.

I didn't dislike Statements but I didn't love it either. The right song definitely won the head-to-head in AC *.*

Hoping this is a step-up as she is obviously capable of brilliance!

Statements was good and I liked the performance but I do get why it didn't make the final, it wasn't very commercial.

I preferred a few other songs that year that did make the final - Wiktoria, Ace Wilder, FO&O, and even Robin Bengtsson tbh, as much as he gets a hard time for being a basic winner/entry.

Just listening to Statements for the first time.

It's really good. The music is excellent.

I was never a huge fan of Euphoria. It's fine. There were better songs in 2012 in my opinion.

Her performance was undeniably great, though.

First 12 announced tomorrow, last 12 announced on Wednesday. However, Melfest posted an Image with a few leaks (artists and a few song titles) below:
