'Lift Me Up' is Rihanna's first solo single (i.e. non-collaboration) in 6 years. What are you initial impressions of it? You can vote in the poll by choosing the score you think best reflects how you feel about the song, and let us know what you chose! I'll close it the poll in a week and work out what BuzzJack's overall average score is.

1 it´s boring drab, she can do better.
6.5! It's nice, I like it, it's not a bad song at all but she's capable of better. I do think this isn't really the comeback people were wanting from her and if more new music is on the horizon, this could have stolen some of the hype...

9.5 for me.

I'm LOVING it. It's really stunning and beautiful. Her vocals are the most "raw" they've been since FourFive Seconds and it really helps to sell the meaning and message behind the song. I'm obsessed.

9, I think it's beautiful. Not a career best but I'm going back to it a lot personally.

Only 5.5?! I dunno why fans, and esp Buzzjack, give this one a hard teem!! Ignoring Geti's Shakespeare complex for a second, this was a nice no.1 bop! Great sound, good vocals, good video, and it had the typical Spice sound. The vocals were DIRE, of course, but that was always part of Geri's charm, back when she was down-to-earth.
