Echoing the surprise at Louis being ahead of Bruce (I'm actually not too surprised at Louis building on the opening sales of his last album given how fervent of a fanbase he has built and increased prominence of multiformatting etc. but Bruce's sales are just a lot lower than I'd have assumed, even for it being a covers album). Nice to have one of my birthday #1s being somewhat unpredictable. For now at least. It'll probably be clear by tomorrow which of the two will be there at the end of the week. I'd be quite happy to see Louis reaching #1 if for no other reason than it'll be funny that 4/5 of 1D had a #1 solo album and Liam Payne could only get to #17. Meanwhile Taylor will obviously have my birthday #1 single. Cool ~

It's a little weird to see 'Miss You' still slowly climbing since it feels like its momentum stalled weeks ago. Not sure I see it getting higher than #3 now anyway (unless it gets #2 by default from 'Unholy' going to ACR). Good to see Rema in the top 10 at the moment, hope he can hold that!

Also lol that the new Black Panther soundtrack seems to be being allowed on the main album chart, unless that's just a mistake (although this is its second week on sale so I doubt that). The first Black Panther soundtrack had far more justification to be on the main chart with it being a pseudo Kendrick Lamar album (though he wasn't on every song on it obvz), this one they're apparently trying to pass off as credited to 'Rihanna & Tems' but they are literally 3 out of 20 songs on it and pretty sure they had no involvement at all with the rest of it

And Tyson Fury and IShowSpeed at 63/64 is a cursed duo of people who really have no business recording music

Wow that’s even lower than I’d expected for Christine + the Queens. Thought it would be top 10 on the first update :(

On the other hand, I'm a little surprised it's even in the top 40 (although it probably won't be by the end of the week). The interest feels like it's fallen off a cliff sadly.

^As has been mentioned, it's a covers album and these generally don't sell as well as new studio albums of original material. (Having said that, there's some great stuff on there).

and it being a soul/jazz covers album too, probably not what a lot of Bruce's fans are into.

NO OTHER SALES INFO

Louis holding up very well, even increasing the lead

Very good strategy releasing new vinyl variants in the middle of the tracking week, easy way to guarantee the #1 spot

Still very close between Louis and Bruce but I suspect Louis will just hold on (anyone see what I did there? -_- )

Could 'Anti-Hero' feasibly be the Christmas number one or would it be on ACR by then?

Mockingbird looking like it could sneak back in 👀

Looks like Mariah is safe to re enter and will most likely give me my first listen of it in 2022 x

Praying Dermot can hold onto a top 20 placing!

Taylor still selling well on both charts, can see her reclaiming the double next week.
Anti-hero wouldn’t quite be on ACR by Christmas week but it is dropping reasonably Swiftly so can’t see it holding on many more weeks.

Yeah she is "falling" but at the same time I don't see any competition coming up anytime soon Unholy will go on ACR before it can compete with Anti Hero imo

The only thing that I can possibly see competing against it is Made You Look if it keeps rising but idk

I hope Tom Odell doesn’t re-enter the top 10 and I also hope that ATF doesn’t re-enter the top 40 either. I can’t be doing with Calm Down missing the top 10 in favour of a song which is 10 years old

Edited by Hadji

The only Xmas song I’d like to see have a turn at #1 this year is FONY
