The rumours seems to suggest 12 shows going on sale and then capacity to add more.

If that’s the case I’m pleased she is, at the moment at least not doing a long haul Vegas stint - a great career moment for her to be able to do it but not at the detriment of her core markets.

So thats 12,000 tickets only to be sold......... yikes!!!! Good Luck everyone. There are probably 12,000 celebs/corporates that will pay the full £2250 package deals for those lol

But then 'Due to phenomenal demand...... here are a few more dates" :P

I don’t understand how it’s only 12 shows for three months — one per week isn’t really a usual density for Vegas residencies, as far as I know.

Looks like Kylie has negotiated a very soft deal for her, so she can promote the album etc.

They will probably do 12 shows and then release a few more as they fill up. Maybe 2 one weekend, then 1 the next, then 2 again, then 1..... Maybe 18 to 24 shows?

They wont want to release 50 dates and sell only 400 tickets per date. Start low and build the dates, looks better that way

Looks like they are all going to be weekend shows - and I’m guessing potential to add more.

She will be well aware though she has music, wine and fragrance commitments too aside from just focusing on Vegas like many artists do.

It's purely business, considering the venue is using Kylie's wines...

Exactly - Kylie will be aiming for maximum exposure and business interests with minimal shows - we love a business savvy Queen!

She is right the way she is doing it and it will look even bigger than it is when she announces more shows. Its an upgraded anti tour setting!
"Demand for her recently announced shows has been off the chart" - how can they tell if tickets haven't gone on sale yet?

So apparently it could last several years? (With breaks presumably)

They add the Spinning Around singer will not just be Voltaire’s opening resident but the club’s “First Lady” over many years in a deal which could be worth tens of millions of dollars.

A Vegas source confirmed: “Kylie has been hands on with Voltaire and this residency for three years with a view to making it a long-term home.

I hope it works out well for kylie but not at a cost that effects markets like the UK that has always been very good to her. If she is only doing shows for a couple of weeks at a time it shouldn't have any effect although at this stage of her career I often thought kykie might scale back her work load to have more time with her parents.
