Posted November 29, 20222 yr Would you have preferred either of what the future holds albums to have gone number 1 instead of the platinum collection or was the platinum collection a more fitting number 1 to mark achieving number 1s across decades?
November 29, 20222 yr I went with the Platinum Collection. Solely so that Scared of the Dark would be on a #1 album. But either of the three are deserving.

November 29, 20222 yr Author In general im just happy they did manage to get another number 1 as i felt they came close enough so many times and missed out and im happy the platinum collection finally got them the number 1 i would have liked a studio album to have done number 1 for them especially as the studio albums have been great.

December 3, 20222 yr I'll say Platinum Collection because it's quite an amazing feat that Steps have managed to have three different Greatest Hits albums get to #1! I would love for them to be able to achieve another #1 with a studio album in the future though. Just think, if it happens sometime during or after November 2024, then they would have studio album #1s that were achieved over 25 years apart from each other!

December 3, 20222 yr You think? Their sales seem to be getting less, especially after the first week of a release.
December 4, 20222 yr Their first week sales should be enough based on previous to achieve Number 1 status if released on a quiet week.
February 15, 20232 yr Author Hopefully the next studio album can do it, its annoying that their sales generally do be enough to be number 1 on many weeks of the year but always seem to pick the wrong week.
