Posted December 1, 20222 yr Amplified on evil conspiracy theory nut Alex Jones channel. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/am...s-b2237179.html It's like Morrissey but on steroids. Musical genius (albeit I personally never rated Moz unlike West who is arguably greatest hip hop artist of all time) goes barking/full on fash. Of course not banned on Twitter where Ye currently promoting his interview. And this so makes a mockery of the falsely amplified view in sections of the media that anti semetism is from the left considering he's buddies with Trump. West is still massive and relevant artist getting no.1 albums and top 10 singles as recently as last year. Will such a massive artist get cancelled? I fear not entirely. December 1, 20222 yr Hardly surprising at this point, unfortunately. Hopefully it'll be the absolute ending of him though.
December 2, 20222 yr Eh I really can't see him coming back to any level of mainstream acceptance now (nor do I think he should, as much as I've enjoyed his music in the past). He's said stupid shit in the past that he came back from but this latest episode is 100x worse than anything before. I'm really scared he's going to end up doing (i.e. not just saying) something awful one of these days.
December 2, 20222 yr Author Interesting article about releasing music and that was written prior to today's interview. https://variety.com/2022/music/news/kanye-w...ing-1235416195/ I'm sure he could stream his music on Twitter mind...
December 2, 20222 yr This follows him having a dinner with Donald Trump that Trump has tried to disassociate himself from, and a podcast appearance on noted conservative-masquerading-as-centrist Tim Pool's show. All these times ye has brought noted fascist livestreamer Nick Fuentes with him and the podcast appearance was with noted alleged pedophile fascist Milo Yiannopoulos. Ye then left the alleged 2-hour podcast after 20 minutes because Pool wouldn't let him be antisemitic enough. This is the kind of company ye is keeping. He's not coming back from this.
December 2, 20222 yr Lol how bad would things have to be if you had dinner with Trump and Trump was the one left feeling like he needed to distance himself!!! But wow at this latest episode. Just wtf on all the levels.
December 2, 20222 yr Author Actually he has been banned from Twitter for tweeting a repellant anti semetic image. Ironic that he was one of the first major hip hop artist to stand up for LGBT rights over a decade ago and now ends up praising someone who would have put West himself to death because of the colour of his skin.
December 2, 20222 yr You know you've really mucked up if even Elongated Muskrat thinks you've gone too far on Twitter x He is utterly deplorable and has none of my sympathies, but this is still tragic to witness from one so talented, especially when his music has been responsible for some great social commentary in the past (I have always wanted to delve deeper, but it is so hard to separate his current persona from his music). I agree with Bre, I've always been really worried he'll do something very bad and still am.
December 2, 20222 yr Honestly, listening to the interview he sounds mentally ill and not for his "I love Hitler" statements (which is part of a whole incoherent I LOVE EVERYONE / EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING GOOD TO BRING TO THE TABLE before delving into a "Jews push pornography" spiel and then a weirdly radical feminist take on porn), but the fact that he sounds incredibly incoherent and makes a lot of jumps in logic. If Kanye didn't have money he would be 100% the crazy guy screaming at the clouds at this point - though perhaps he would've been 5051'd at this point and forced to take his medication. I'd hate to be him if he ever comes down from the bipolar manic high he's experiencing right now.
December 2, 20222 yr He is a disgusting human being. As a black person, I disavow his comments on Jews in the strongest terms. I also was disgusted at his comments about his own black people on numerous occasions. I never rated that him highly as an artist, I've always preferred UK rap/hip hop anyway.
