Eurovision had some surprising impact in the Top 5 + Italian Pop became very popular with me out of the blue. Jessie and Tove made it to the top with two high quality tracks and THE two outstanding dance tracks of the Year from Eliza Rose and LF System complete the Top 10. December 27, 20222 yr Nice at 6/10 of the albums I was rooting for in my earlier post making your top 15 - a really strong top 5 there, The Weeknd's album nearly made my list too (the good songs on it are amazing, just thought the album as a whole was dragged down a bit by the middle section having a few tracks I didn't care for much, it starts and finishes super strong though). Of course most thrilled to see ROSALÍA at #2 and I cannot argue with her being beaten by Beyoncé really, I haven't historically been her biggest fan but 'RENAISSANCE' is well deserving of its hype. Love to see Dry Cleaning in the top 10 too as a bit of a leftfield choice! A song from that album inspiring my current member title (the bit under my username on the left of this post) :magic: 'As It Was' and 'Afraid To Feel' are both among the best hit songs of the year for me so a great top 2 on the songs list too. 'Sacrifice', 'Free Yourself' and 'No One Dies From Love' are my other highlights of your top 10 <3 and nice to see 'Gasoline' and 'Less Than Zero' being the next 2 highest songs from 'Dawn FM' as they were among the best songs on it for me too. Also agreed with your top pick from Beach House with 'Superstar' :wub: and the 2 Bad Bunny tracks you included are my exact top 2 from his album too! December 30, 20222 yr I absolutely loved boy, and it's a shame to see it so low but it is what it is. It did incredibly well for me this year though! Sirens was a beautiful song! It did very poorly on my EOY although it did make the top 100. I do wish I'd given it a longer chance at my playlist. Pure/honest is superb and will be revealed on my EOY soon. It's a single in the waiting I'd say! Grapefruit not doing as well here as I'd have liked either but it is what it is. It made my top 100 as well :cheer: Maybe you're the problem is a bop and definitely the underperformance of the decade so far. Initially I had thought it would equal dua lipas Physical on the official chart but it's performance was absolutely dire! Cozy was a proper highlight for me from beys album. It turned into a much bigger song formme than I ever imagined though. Anti-Hero did decently here for entering the year so late. It's one of her best ever tracks and I can't fault it in any way. I'm thrilled to see No One Dies From Love in your top 10. The best song of the year for me by a country mile. Absolutely smashing! Free yourself was okay. Lovely message with the song obviously but save a kiss is her best song for me and I'm longing for something in that vein again! Fantastic countdown :wub:
