One of the problems with award shows is that they are always shown on commercial channels, partly because of all the sponsorships that have to be named. I started watching the Brits on catch-up at about 9:15. After skipping all the adverts, a couple performances and pointless wittering from someone called Mo Gilligan (apparently) I am now just a few minutes behind. Lots of people won't watch it live because they don't want to watch endless commercials/
