December 12, 20222 yr Ooh a curated vote reveal order meaning I may not be left until the very end due to being lazy about sending my votes for once :lol: (though I can't see myself being in contention this time so no tension regardless x). A great debut entry from Y'all Starlight albeit one I knew quite well already - it is kind of a shame EKKSTACY's songs are all so short but they do pack a punch into those two minute runtimes. The music video for GIYA's song was great, the song was cute but didn't ultimately stand out to me that much unfortunately. Heartworms was a big immediate fave for me as something with the description 'gothic post-punk' is bound to be, no shock at that being the niche Jade went down this time. Though it is a bit screamier than I'd associate Jade entries with! Also enjoyed The Gathering's song, was one that grew on me as it went along. And Miranda Sex Garden was excellent, so Rich also delivering a great debut Nuggets entry! Saw some people saying they didn't like the vocals but I thought they just contributed to how much of a standout it was. Great to see that off to such a strong start *.*

Quite surprised at that one being Severin as I felt like it had an almost mainstream-ish sound to it (reminded me a lot of VUKOVI who are themselves not that original sounding, but sharing the ability to occasionally make a good banger with a really strong pop-adjacent chorus).
