Posted December 19, 20222 yr from all the huge amount of incredible indie music released in 2022, what would be your fav 5 songs? doesn't matter if singles or album tracks, hits of flops, what did you enjoy more than anything else? no cheating, only 5 allowed :D for me: 1 Phoebe Bridgers - Sidelines Phoebe cannot do wrong and of course she gets my #1 of the year. This is a little song she did for the tv series Conversations with Friends and is quite different to her previous stuff as it doesn't feature guitars but keys instead. Not sure how much she contributed to the song in truth as this is a song that his drummer wrote and posted online a while ago and the lyrics are mostly the same. 2 Damien Rice - Astronaut This is a song that Damien has been playing live for the last 5/6 years and that he finally released officially as part of a live charity album called The Busk. It's a nice little song about friendship rather than about romance. 3 Rosalia - Candy Taking from the album of the year Motomami, a very addictive track from Rosalia 4 Lana del Rey - Watercolor Eyes Her contribution to the Euphoria season 2 soundtrack, love the super high vocals and the opening lyrics ("Why you always doin' that? Breakin' up with me, then makin'up/Just to make me mad") 5 Billie Eilish - TV both TV and the 30th are excellent and like them almost even Edited December 29, 20222 yr by Bjork

December 21, 20222 yr Yeah it was the idea of Interrupters being labelled Pop Punk I can just imagine how they'd bristle at that In The Mirror is great but personally I thought Raised By Wolves was the best single off the album
December 21, 20222 yr Ooh Raised By Wolves is pretty good actually. I must have heard it when I listened to the album but it must not have stuck out at the time. That being said, I almost would describe that one as a pop-punk song tbh!
