I like this. Released around the time of Phoenix it would have been a Top 10 hit (and probably a minute longer as well).

It doesn't look like it's going to do massive things chart-wise, but you never know.

I've listened to this a few times and I keep thinking it would benefit from a remix.
This has to be her lowest effort for a hit surely, the song has one memorable hook, lasts only 2:28 and took seven people to write?

Most songs have that many writers these days, it just seems to depend on who happens to be in the studio when it's written (regardless of whether they really contribute to it).

I think for a Rita Ora single in 2023, the fact it might even chart in the top 100 is pretty miraculous for her.

I imagine her days of big hits may well be over now but that's a slight exaggeration, she's not ever had a single (as lead artist) miss the top 100.
'Finish Line' from last year didn't chart whatsoever - although that wasn't a "proper" single in the sense that this one is and was just a throwaway for some ESPN/Disney thing, so you're still correct if you put that asterisk there
Admittedly I forgot that existed lol but yes I'd consider it a 'promotional single' anyway (that is how it's categorised on Wikipedia).

I really don't believe it is, it's been 3 years since 'How to Be Lonely's performance (which is a lifetime in pop music) and she's probably got way less clout now than she did back then - especially with everything that's happened since also.

but after the Lewis song mis-step

didn't she had that song with Sigala in 2021? You For Me, which peaked at #23

I'm quite surprised she's promoting in the US.

It had 843k global streams on Spotify yesterday. :cheer:
Last week she wasn't charting anywhere, now she's charting on both Apple and Spotify so top 100 was totally expected
This is a grower for me, I have gone back to it quite a bit. It's not really up there with Anywhere or Let Me Love You but it's solid and I wouldn't mind it being a hit for her, although it's a little dated.
