Fingers crossed but if released on the right week i think they will but knowing them they will pick a competitive week again.

It’s a double edged sword because if they don’t pick a competitive week they get lower sales.

I’ve bought about 3629 copies of an album I only needed twice/three times at most

They are probably safe to sell 15k without a massive push i would think but with good promo and with it been a greatest hits they should sell much higher, it will appeal to people who probably haven't bought any of their recent albums plus the fans will buy regardless, i wont will go multi format crazy again if they do release it. With the cd, i can see them doing a 2cd release with old and new and maybe re- releasing with a 3rd cd.

Its likely there will probably be at least 10 different editions available between cds, vinyls etc when released, time to start saving now :lol:

I would like a regular and special edition (cd/vinyl). I think they can grab the #1 with the right formats, promo and week of release!

And I rather have them selling less and grab the #1 spot then selling a lot and reach #2.

I kinda feel the same, i just want them to get the number 1 now.

If only with 10K, a number 1 is a number 1!

 

And it would be great for their legacy, 4 decades with a #1 album!

Thats a pretty comprehensive track listing if it happened, i would expect 3 new songs on there and as what seems to be a huge fan fave i would add paradise lost.

Oh, yes! Maybe a 4th disc with some favorite album tracks and b-sides.

I could never see a 4cd set happening and it would be too costly for the casual buyer, im think they will do a 2 cd initially and do a re release with the dvd.
