Nice to see Hundred Reasons back after 15 years (and touring)!

It really is a very good album as well.

Seems to be doing pretty well…

At least he didn’t/couldn’t slap ‘Body’ on it!

I’m a little surprised that ‘Reggae & Calypso’ isn’t there tbh though.

Yeah I noticed 'Reggae & Calypso' was absent from it, that is strange considering it includes quite a few of his other less successful singles from around the same time (both before and after!)

Interested to see how much of a splash De La Soul can make, their arrival on streaming has been teased for quite a while now (even having a couple of singles dropped ahead of today as if it was an actual new release).

Hoping slowthai can go top 3 again (kind of expecting The Lathums and Mimi Webb to be the top 2) but not the greatest early sign there - though I forget if 'TYRON' made that big of an impression on iTunes either.

'3 Feet High And Rising' has also been re-released on vinyl, CD and cassette today so I think it's going to do well.

I saw that it had a physical re-release too but wasn't sure if that was also for this week!

Its current peak is only #13 so would be nice if it can beat that (and their career peak is #7 for 'De La Soul Is Dead').

I just had a look back and 'TYRON' was at #6 on iTunes at 10:12 back on its release day, with 4 new entries above it (The Pretty Reckless, Pale Waves, Sia & Rita/Imanbek).

Some predictions for the upcoming #1 albums:

10th March: Miley Cyrus - Endless Summer Vacation

17th March: U2 - Songs Of Surrender

24th March: Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust - it'll be close between them and Lana Del Rey, but I think FOB will just edge it.

31st March: DMA’S - How Many Dreams? - it's looking like a fairly quiet week currently! I wouldn't entirely rule out Boygenius either, there seems to be a lot of hype for them at the moment.

7th April: Ellie Goulding - Higher Than Heaven

14th April: Metallica - 72 Seasons

Depeche Mode album also out the same week as Lana and FOB. I would predict Lana to take it considering how well her last couple of singles have done (I know her last album underperformed but that always felt like a pretty damp squib of an era, probably because of being so soon after her last album I guess? and just not being very good, the hype feels back much more this time). I see FOB's last 3 albums have all peaked at #2, oof if they add a 4th in a row to that!

Lana for #1 for sure there are 4 different covers all available on 3 formats sp guess a bunch of crazy fans will buy the 12 of them :D

if only Boygenius could make but cannot see them doing more than 3-4K

You never know! They’re headlining their own show at Gunnersbury Park this summer, which has a capacity of 20k.

I love Boygenius, it's my #1 band in the world but really cannot see how they could even do 5K

people know Phoebe Bridgers but Julien and Lucy Dacus no one knows them

that said they have big label support this time so lots and lots of formats already

they are playing a big park this summer, but the park has different fields

can even hold a festival for 30K people but I'm sure they will play in one of the small fields for like 5K

it's not like it sold out all the tix in 3 minutes

That's true. I'm trying to find their Gunnersbry capacity, and all I can find is the NME saying that it'll be "a crowd capacity bigger than London’s O2" - which is 20k.

Of course Miley will be #1 officially, but hopefully Sleaford Mods can get another Top 5 album! Their last debuted at #4 with 6.9k.

It's also quite remarkable how they've released a new album every 2 years consistently since they first blew up in 2015.
