March 17, 20232 yr I agree this U2 album will probably get to #1 but surprisingly they haven't had a #1 album since 2009, their last two albums got to #6 and #5 respectively.
March 17, 20232 yr well those last 2 albums are a bit tricky to judge... cos we got the one that was given awy for free to everybody even if you didn't want it, you got it too :D so not sure if that counts as a miss then the last one was a sorta companion to the previous one... and even with a #5 debut it sold 40K in week 1... so sure they will be #1 this time with zero competition

March 25, 20232 yr Quite intrigued by the Black Country, New Road live album - it is all new material written since Isaac Wood (the lead vocalist on their first two albums) left the band, I wonder if this release means these songs aren't actually planned for their next album? The Bush Hall performance got quite a bit of buzz but I was planning to wait until studio versions came out to hear the songs, I think I will give this live album a listen now it's been released though.
