Former world number one Victoria Azarenka suffered a shock defeat by American teenager Ashlyn Krueger at the Libema Open in the Netherlands.

Two-time Grand Slam champion Azarenka was stunned 6-3 6-2 by the 19-year-old.

Victory at the grass-court tournament in s'Hertogenbosch marks unseeded Krueger's first win over a top-20 player and a maiden WTA quarter-final.

In the men's draw, Italian second seed Jannik Sinner beat Kazakh Alexander Bublik to reach the last eight.

British trio Jodie Burrage, Katie Boulter and Heather Watson all gained impressive wins to move into the Nottingham Open semi-finals.

Burrage beat Poland's Magdalena Frech 6-2 3-6 7-5 before Boulter defeated fellow Briton Harriet Dart 6-3 7-5 in the other half of the tournament draw.

It is the first time Burrage and Boulter have reached WTA semi-finals.

Boulter will face Watson after she beat Switzerland's Viktorija Golubic 7-6 (7-2) 7-5 to guarantee a British finalist.

Boulter and Burrage through to the final!

Whoever wins will get themselves a new career high ranking, and be the British number 1 (which will feel a bit more deserved rather than Boulter currently having it kinda by default)

Katie Boulter won her first WTA title with a dominant victory in Nottingham over Jodie Burrage in the first all-British tour-level final in 46 years.

The British women's number one ranking was also on the line as Boulter outplayed her good friend 6-3 6-3.

"I'm definitely going to be sleeping with this trophy tonight," Boulter said in her on-court interview.

Andy Murray's ten match winning streak (having just won back-to-back challengers on grass) has been brought to an end at Queen's by Alex de Minaur. To be expected as ADM is a good grass court player, but shame that Andy hasn't managed to get seeded for Wimbledon.

Anett Kontaveit, who was ranked #2 this time last year, has announced that she's retiring after Wimbledon this year, as she's too injured to carry on playing.

But the British number four fell away against world number 21 Potapova.

"I thought it was a really high level match and I definitely had a lot of chances - overall it was a positive week," said Dart.

"Of course I wanted to do better today and to keep going but it's important just to keep building week in, week out to be able to compete with the best players in the world."
