Chelsea have agreed a £35m deal to sign Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile and he will undergo a medical on Monday.

Leeds are in advanced talks over a deal for RB Salzburg centre-back Max Wober.

 

Wober is a 24-year-old left-footed centre-half who also plays for Austria.

 

There is an agreement in principle on a fee in the region of £11m, Sky Sports News understands.

Leeds have announced the signing of Max Wober from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg for an undisclosed fee, subject to a work permit.

 

The 24-year-old becomes the club’s first signing of the January transfer window and he has penned a four-and-a-half year deal at Elland Road, running until the summer of 2027.

Nottingham Forest are keen to offload a raft of players in this January transfer window, as they look to make space in the squad to recruit a number of fresh faces for a renewed Premier League survival push.

 

Forest have today cancelled Loic Blade’s loan deal with Rennes, and Sky Sports News has been told Harry Arter, Emmanuel Dennis, Sam Surridge and Josh Bowler are all available for transfer too, if the right offer comes in.

 

The revamp comes after Steve Cooper's side saw 22 new signings arrive following promotion in the summer.

 

Surridge is of interest to both Sunderland and Burnley.

 

Blackpool are close to re-signing Bowler on loan, after they sold him to Forest in September. The winger has been on loan at Olympiacos since then.

 

Dennis is available at a cut-down price after he cost £15m in moving from Watford just five months ago. He has made only three Premier League starts and scored just one goal since then.

Kevin Schade has completed a medical ahead of his move to Brentford, having flown into London yesterday.

 

The Bees are putting the final touches to his deal from Freiburg, and it is expected to be completed today.

 

The deal is expected to be an Initial loan with an obligation to buy for around £20m if performance-related incentives are met.

Interesting regarding Forest - seems like they're looking for two very active transfer windows in a row.

Klich joined the club in 2017 and went on to become a key part in their promotion to the Premier League.

 

The 32-year-old has made 81 Premier League appearances for Leeds, helping the club finish ninth in 2020/21 and avoid relegation on the last day of the campaign last season.

Brighton have announced the signing of midfielder Dejana Stefanovic, who has signed a contract with the club until June 2024, subject to international clearance.

 

The 25-year-old has joined Albion after three seasons at Valerenga in the Norwegian Toppserien, having also previously played at ASPTT Albi and Avaldsnes.

Croatia forward Mislav Orsic is in the process of finishing his medical at Southampton this morning.

 

Should all go according to plan, the club are expected to announce his signing from Dinamo Zagreb in the next 24 hours for a fee believed to be around £8m.

Southampton has completed the signing of Croatia international winger Mislav Oršić from Dinamo Zagreb.

 

The Saints are believed to have paid a fee of around £8m.

I'm a fan of Oršić. I'm glad he's going to go have a go in the Premier League.

 

I remember Burnley nearly signed him last January and I think that was all they needed to have stayed up. Unsure if it's enough for Southampton though. They look rotten at the moment.

Leicester City have approached Fiorentina to discuss a possible deal for winger Nico Gonzalez.

 

A left-footed right winger has been top of Brendan Rodgers' wanted list for some time now, and Gonzalez fits Leicester's profile perfectly.

 

The 24-year-old Argentinian moved from Stuttgart 18months ago, and has been a big hit in Italy, scoring 13 goals and earning 9 assists in 50 appearances.

 

He is likely to cost the Foxes in excess of £25m.

Chelsea have agreed a £90million deal to sign Arsenal target Mykhailo Mudryk, according to multiple reports.

 

The Gunners have made three bids to sign Mudryk, the latest worth around £80m, but the Premier League leaders have not been able to reach an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk.

And since then the president of Shakhtar has pledged to donate £22m to the Ukrainian war effort following the transfer.

Aston Villa's Frederic Guilbert has completed a permanent transfer to Strasbourg for an undisclosed fee.

 

The right-back joined Villa in January 2019 from Caen but made just 31 appearances for the club, the last of which came in August 2021.

Southampton are working towards a permanent deal for Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson, according to The Athletic.

 

Villarreal are holding firm in their €20m (£17.7m) valuation of the 21-year-old, but Southampton are now getting closer to an agreement with the LaLiga club, having previously been in talks over a six-month loan deal with an option to buy.

 

Southampton are also making progress towards agreeing personal terms with Jackson.
