Brookside from the very beginning starts streaming on STV from 1st February 2023

 

For most of its run Brookside was great. It got rather ridiculous towards its end when they introduced new characters and gave them major stories before viewers had any chance to care about them.

I confess I have started watching this from the beginning on STV player.

 

I wasn't even born when this aired and never really watched it before it finished. I'm enjoying it so far.

I wish they’d upload 10 episode a week instead of 5. Re-runs of EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street all get broadcast 10 times a week. The best theme tune was the 90s one which was first used at the end of 1990. Weren’t too keen on the first theme tune and the 2002 theme tune was terrible

I agree the ten episodes a week was a lot better. It will take forever to get to watch all of the episodes lol.
