June 2, 20232 yr My favourite part of that article is when one of them says, "even though I don’t understand Estonian, I feel there is depth to this"... about a song that is entirely sung in English x

June 2, 20232 yr Buzzfeed has done their own rankings and some of them are... choices... :kink: https://www.buzzfeed.com/sam_cleal/eurovisi...nked-best-worst Honestly their rankings are always complete trash. Makes you wonder what they are listening to, or if they should go to get a hearing test off specsavers

Why is Alessansra no.1? Song makes no sense, and her vocals aee horrible. She sounds like a child. She was way too young for that song; her voice isn't mature yet.
December 4, 20231 yr hey I know I'm like half a season late for this and we already have one of the songs for the next Eurovision out but I've finally got around to listening to this year's DNQs and the studio versions/music videos for all the songs to make a final ranking so here's a bump x This was my ranking on the night of the finalists as I didn't post it anywhere yet: 1 Spain / Blanca Paloma 2 Finland / Käärijä 3 Australia / Voyager 4 Germany / Lord Of The Lost 5 Moldova / Pasha Parfeni 6 Norway / Alessandra 7 Austria / TEYA/SALENA 8 Serbia / Luke Black 9 Ukraine / TVORCHI 10 Albania / Albina Kelmendi/Familja Kelmendi 11 Czechia / Vesna 12 France / La Zarra 13 Israel / Noa Kirel 14 Belgium / Gustaph 15 Estonia / ALIKA 16 Croatia / Let 3 17 Portugal / Mimicat 18 Slovenia / Joker Out 19 Sweden / Loreen 20 Italy / Marco Mengoni 21 Armenia / Brunette 22 Switzerland / Remo Forrer 23 Cyprus / Andrew Lambrou 24 Lithuania / Monika Linkytė 25 United Kingdom / Mae Muller 26 Poland / Blanka And here's my updated ranking with the DNQs slotted in where they would be: 1 Finland / Käärijä 2 Spain / Blanca Paloma 3 Austria / TEYA/SALENA 4 Australia / Voyager 5 Norway / Alessandra 6 Czechia / Vesna 7 Serbia / Luke Black Latvia / Sudden Lights 8 Sweden / Loreen 9 Slovenia / Joker Out 10 Germany / Lord Of The Lost 11 Ukraine / TVORCHI 12 Portugal / Mimicat Georgia / Iru 13 Moldova / Pasha Parfeni Romania / Theodor Andrei 14 Albania / Albina Kelmendi/Familja Kelmendi San Marino / Piqued Jacks 15 Israel / Noa Kirel 16 Croatia / Let 3 17 Belgium / Gustaph Iceland / Diljá Denmark / Reiley 18 Estonia / ALIKA Ireland / Wild Youth 19 France / La Zarra 20 Switzerland / Remo Forrer Netherlands / Mia Nicolai/Dion Cooper Malta / The Busker 21 Italy / Marco Mengoni Azerbaijan / TuralTuranX 22 Lithuania / Monika Linkytė 23 United Kingdom / Mae Muller 24 Armenia / Brunette Greece / Victor Vernicos 25 Cyprus / Andrew Lambrou 26 Poland / Blanka Notable growers: Austria, Czechia, Sweden, Slovenia, Portugal, Denmark (just because the live vocals were crap, hearing the studio version was automatically an improvement x) Shrinkers / songs I slightly overrated on first impression: Germany, Moldova, France There's a robbed DNQ every year and this year it was Latvia, may not look like it from that ranking but it is very comfortably my favourite of the DNQs (I'm closer to putting it in my top 5 than putting it below Joker Out). Also don't really get why most people were hating Romania's song, I thought it was pretty good and nothing about it stood out to me as being particularly unlikable x
