Finally got tickets, to the Saturday matinee performance at the O2 *.* Ain't no party like an S Club lunchtime party. Was worried I'd have to go up to Glasgow to see it as it was the only place with seats left for under £200 before this went on sale.

 

Pretty much right at the back, as I went for the cheapest option, I believe it will be anoter 'sell out in minutes' affair, can't believe the amount of goodwill they still have. I was worried the various sub sections touring as S Club 3/2/Allstars might have diluted the brand but it doesn't seem to be the case.

 

The appetitie for nostalgia and fun is high and I can see why at the moment.

Same I just got the best Lower Tier seat that I could for the evening show at the O2 - Block 109 I think my seat is in? I'm quite fortunate that I'm 6 ft 3 so getting a view of the stage is not a problem for me. Just getting to see them at all is exciting for me!

Nice one guys!! If there's any left by Tuesday I might snap one up and go twice on the same day, I am SO tempted.

I managed to get matinee tickets for London today after missing out due to demand last week, didn’t think they’d be as popular as they are proving to be.

 

My only concern is that I’m going to send to end up seeing Jo miming what with so many shows in a row which I’ll be disappointed with. I didn’t go to their last tour but I remember seeing videos and later on in the run she was clearly miming some of the big songs. Hope they get some good vocal coaches and look after themselves properly.

I held off buying tickets for another show today, thinking if I book tickets for another show i'll find a friend who will go as i'm already going once :P So it will be nice to go with someone the second time!

I might have got myself a ticket for the Matinee show at the O2. I'll sell my ticket for the evening show a bit nearer the time. I was transferring some of my savings across ready for JLS' pre-sale on Wednesday and I thought "why the hell not?" Saves me a hotel bill as well 😂

I must tell my friend who lives near there then - she loves a bit of S Club but she gave the first on sale a miss. I'd hate her to miss out!

 

Hannah’s thoughts on the tour, via The Sun:

 

While there have been no formal talks about the future of the reunion tour due to start this October, Hannah believes that it will go ahead in Paul’s honour.

 

She said: “We’ll speak to his family. He’d still need to be a big part of it whether that’s a big tribute at the beginning or the end. He will always be on stage with us.”

Bradley's Instagram tribute to Paul also hinted that the tour could go on: "I know your not going to be with us on the next one in the physical but you’ll always be with us in our hearts and thoughts"

 

Can't imagine how they're feeling right now, must be such a difficult situation.

The logo on the official website has been changed to just S Club, as has the name on their official Twitter and Instagram accounts (the handles remain @sclub7).

 

Guessing this is a sign of things going ahead, there wouldn't be any need to rename things otherwise I suppose.

Ahh, I get it but it would have been nice to have kept the name ‘S Club 7’.

Likewise, I suppose this has come from their discussions and how best to proceed. I guess it draws a bit less attention to the number of members on stage. I guess they may even be getting a new tour poster together using Seeing Double images instead of the '7' album cover?

Seeing "S Club" is so sad :(

 

It's a delicate situation for sure... for them to be called "S Club 7" in future interviews etc could feel too painful for them, with the constant reminder that they're no longer 7. So I get it. :cry:

Tour is being renamed The Good Times Tour, and Hannah won't be joining them. Entirely fair, especially with how close she was to Paul.

Totally understandable that Hannah has backed out now.

 

I cannot imagine that getting their heads around all of this whilst also grieving their bandmate and brother can have been easy at all, but they've absolutely made the right call as best as possible. And renaming it the Good Times Tour 😢 Beautiful way to remember him.

 

I just really hope that they're kind to themselves through it all and take the time they need if it becomes too much.
