Oooh now this I'd actually be here for. I do recall from an interview JB did quite recently when he was promoting his kid's book that there's talk of possible summer shows next year so I wonder if it's this?

I believe that’s it! I also heard that Emeli Sande is supporting them somewhere in Scotland, and Chip(munk) too somewhere.

Definitely got the right idea with support acts then, all from the same era which would make it a draw for casuals! I loved Chip (née Chipmunk) back in the day anyway so I'd be here for seeing him support them.

The guys are on BBC Radio 2 on Saturday morning with Richie Anderson (standing in for Dermot O'Leary): https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001pyg0

Aston has a new single "Right Here" out tomorrow and Oritsé also has a new single out next Friday called "Showdown"!

Absolute joke, just received an email saying we will be located in front of the barrier and JLS will be behind when photos are taken.

Absolute rubbish.

It was a bit odd that they were doing it at the last tour, absolutely baffling to be doing it again in 2023. A slap in the face for those who bought meet & greet (not me, thankfully)

I mean in all fairness, it was highlighted quite clearly on the M&G packages when the tour went on sale in March, so it's not like it's some best kept secret. It's been there in plain sight all along.

I should point out at this juncture that when Blue did their tour last year, their M&G protocol was reading the same but people had the proper M&G without any distancing or barrier in the end.

Even if the same thing doesn't happen I'm still gonna enjoy my one in Cardiff. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that important. There are actual people caught up in real life death or situations across the world right now.

Yes it was there but most people did not think it would actually happen as no-one else is doing this, it is not 2020.

You may say it is not 'life or death' blah blah but I don't see a good enough reason for it unless they have COVID or something. The pictures just look so awkward with you and them being separated and I am within my right to be annoyed that they are actually going through with it. No-one wants to pay a lot of money for awkward photos.

Hopefully this changes when the tour starts.

Finally booked my tickets for the Birmingham concert (Friday).

Honestly there is no need for it now and the pictures look horrible - the S Club M&G on Saturday was with the band with no distancing etc. so don’t understand why JLS want to be 10ft away from fans.

Maybe it's a vocally (and physically) demanding show for them and they don't want to run the risk of catching anything?

I could understand it if so.

^^ it’s just an odd move - there are pictures of them meeting fans in the street this week and they are standing next to them and hugging? But fans that are paying for a meet and greet have to be behind a barrier?

That's a bit weird then. I can't think why in that case unless it's more convenient somehow.

Tour starts tonight in Dublin and it would appear there is no barrier as reported!
I imagine it’ll be their 2024 summer shows. As I understand, there is still no new music on the way.
They hinted at it when they announced the tour back in February but I suspect you are right.

I'm going to the show on Friday (Birmingham) so I did wonder if there was going to be a surprise there.

Good call.

It's good to see them expanding.
