Okay after a couple of listens love this song. I am confused though as did she not market herself as a house producer and trying to make a statement for underground house producers. Whereas she has no production impact in this and it is hardly house either.

No, she's primarily a DJ - Interplanetary Criminal produced on “B.O.T.A.” - her influences are more UKG, soul & disco though she did mention she was getting in to speed garage recently. Eliza didn't market herself as anything, she's just putting out stuff she loves and I think she had always wanted to work with IC (Zach), no doubt the success of that single really surprised her, but I wouldn't expect her to continue along that route as that was primarily Zach's sound. Mura Masa on production is possibly a more representative fit as he typically works with more 2-step or UKG genre influences.

Personally I think it's great that a female DJ is getting such a high profile, for too long attention (within the mainstream in particular) on that part of the music industry has been too heavily male focussed. Hopefully she is helping to inspire lots of young female DJs who are starting out rn.

I hope that this being playlisted by R1 can help to remove her one-hit wonder status

I have to say I have found myself going back to the original more and more, especially having casually heard it on Radio 1
