Posted February 25, 20232 yr The band's TV shows and one hour specials on the BBC and ITV was how most fans came to be aware of them - so which is your favourite? Of the series it has to be L.A 7 for me - and for the one hour specials it has to be Back to the Fifties / Boyfriends and Birthdays. Edited February 25, 20232 yr by ThePensmith
February 25, 20232 yr I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the One Hour Specials, and of the tv series I’ve only seen Miami 7 and L.A 7 in full. I’ve seen bits of Hollywood 7 and Viva S Club though. I’d love them all on streaming so I can finally see them all.
February 25, 20232 yr I didn't see any of the one-off specials when they aired (I was 3 when the last one aired tbf and it was before my parents got me into S Club) and I don't recall them being repeated on CBBC unlike the TV series so I only watched them for the first time on YouTube, think it was back during the last reunion hype. I must rewatch as I don't remember my opinions of them but I did find Artistic Differences a bit of an odd one. As for the TV series, it's close between LA 7 and Hollywood 7 but I have a particular nostalgia for the latter, it was the first one I saw and it's attached to my favourite album of theirs (Sunshine). Miami 7 is fun but the acting is noticeably less good. Viva S Club was still good, I particularly liked how they included Paul's departure as a storyline.
February 26, 20232 yr Voted Hollywood 7 but it has been 20 years I’ve seen any series might rewatch soon
February 26, 20232 yr LA 7 for TV show! I have to admit my memories are vague for the specials but Back to the 50s seems the most memorable.
August 5, 20231 yr It's not on my ITVX premium currently (which Britbox has been integrated into) but wow, this actually seems to be happening!!!
August 5, 20231 yr It’s not on my BritBox, but maybe they’ll add it soon. Though I’m referring to the Australian one.
August 11, 20231 yr Seems the ITVX screen shot was faked! I'm not too disappointed by that, to me it seems like it being a part of Britbox via ITVX would make it a bit tucked away. I'd like for it to be more widely accessible than that.
August 20, 20231 yr From their interviews it doesn't sound like there's any concrete plans, but they do have decent quality versions of the episodes as the clips they're posting on social media are considerably better than any uploads out there. I really hope they find an outlet for them! Britbox/ITVX wouldn't surprise me but iPlayer feels most logical to me.
